Trustpilot alternatives: 11 reputation management tools compared

Trustpilot alternatives are sought by businesses that find a public review marketplace too expensive per domain or too rigid on contract terms, and by those that want private control over where reviews are published. They move to review tools with monthly billing, to country-specific trust schemes, or to location-based reputation platforms.

Short answer: The closest replacements for Trustpilot in our reputation management ranking are Reviews.io, Feefo and Trustmary. Choose Reviews.io if you want monthly billing and reviews published mainly on your own site. All 11 alternatives below are ranked products from Best Reputation Management Software in 2026, and each says where it differs from Trustpilot.

Vendors can pay for visibility on this site; it never changes what we say about a product. How that works.

Trustpilot

#10 of 18 in our reputation management ranking

  • Pricing: Free tier; paid plans per domain, largely quoted
  • Established in: Denmark
  • Built for: Consumer brands whose buyers check reviews before purchasing
  • Not for: Companies wanting control over which customers are invited
01

Why buyers look past Trustpilot

  1. 01

Price per domain, on a 12-month prepaid term

Trustpilot's paid plans start at $99 a month (Starter), $319 (Plus) and $799 (Premium), each per domain and billed annually, with Enterprise quoted. The initial contract is 12 months, prepaid. A business with several websites pays for each domain separately, and Trustpilot says the quote reflects site traffic, business size per domain and annual revenue. Teams that want to cancel monthly look elsewhere.

  2. 02

    A small free plan

The Free plan allows 50 review invitations a month and, once that limit is reached, you wait for the next month unless you upgrade. Trustpilot's own comparison puts automated invitations at 100 on Starter, 300 on Plus and 1,000 on Premium. Companies sending more invitations than that move to a tool priced by invitation volume or to unlimited tiers.

  3. 03

    Features reserved for higher plans

Trustpilot's comparison table limits users to 1 login on Free and Starter, 3 on Plus and 10 on Premium, puts API access and the Product Reviews and Location Reviews modules in add-ons, and reserves multi-domain management and single sign-on for higher tiers. Growing teams often discover they are buying the plan for one feature.

Feefo

United Kingdom · Per month by plan, published entry tiers; enterprise plan quoted

Feefo publishes entry prices in pounds, plus VAT: Essentials at 149 a month with 200 email requests and Enhanced at 299 with 500, while Plus is custom. Switch from Trustpilot if you sell to UK consumers and want a published price with awards recognition.

Feefo, #6 of 18 in our reputation management ranking →

Trustmary

Finland · Free plan; paid per month by usage (widget views, responses) and add-ons, published

Trustmary describes a free plan and meters usage in widget views, survey responses, requests and connected sources, hiding the widget (not the reviews) when a view limit is reached. It is a tool for collecting and displaying testimonials on your site, not a public marketplace. We could not retrieve its paid tier prices.

Switch from Trustpilot if you mainly need testimonials and surveys displayed on your own website.

04

When Trustpilot is still the right choice

Trustpilot remains the right choice when a public, consumer-facing review profile is the goal. Its pricing page says over a million businesses globally have Trustpilot reviews, shoppers search it by name, and the paid tiers add Trustpilot-branded widgets, AI search visibility reports and ecosystem integrations. If your buyers check Trustpilot before purchase, a private tool will not replace that audience, and the free plan with 50 invitations a month may be enough for a small business.

05

What moving off Trustpilot involves

  1. 01

    Your reviews stay on Trustpilot

Trustpilot states that if you stop using its service your reviews remain on your profile page. A replacement tool therefore starts with an empty review count of its own, and the public Trustpilot score will keep being seen by people who search for you. Plan to keep the free profile claimed.

  2. 02

    Mind the 12-month term

The initial contract is 12 months and prepaid. Time a switch to the renewal date, and run the new tool in parallel for the last quarter so it is collecting reviews before the old one ends.

  3. 03

    Rebuild invitations and widgets

Invitation templates, integrations with your shop or CRM and on-site Trustpilot widgets do not carry over. List where each is used before you start, so no page keeps showing an old widget.
