Best Click Fraud Protection Software in 2026

Click fraud protection software screens the clicks on paid search and social ads, then blocks or reports those that come from bots, click farms or rivals.

Prices here follow clicks, ad spend, sessions or impressions, and the ranking below weighs first-month effort, the invoice at real volume, how blocklists leave and whether you can run it alone.

Vendors can fund visibility on this page. They cannot fund a better entry, since criticism stays in, and we are not paid when readers click through. How that works.

In short

What click fraud protection software does

Click fraud protection software checks ad clicks against signals such as IP address, device and behaviour, then excludes invalid sources from ad accounts or reports them for refund claims.

How we ranked these

5 criteria, in order

The ranking follows five checks. Setup effort comes first, then real cost, then the route for getting data out, then lock-in, then the intended buyer. The ranking then gives places 1 to 3 to challengers outside the best-known brands, if the category has such vendors, and the incumbents follow. For why these five were chosen, and why nothing here gets a numeric score, see how we work.

Country is where the vendor is headquartered or contracts from, which is a different question from where your data is hosted. Where the two tell different stories, the entry says so.

#1 ClickPatrol

Utrecht-based click fraud filter priced by monthly click volume

Ranked #1 of 11 in Best Click Fraud Protection Software in 2026.

Published pricingEurope

The imprint of ClickPatrol B.V. gives a Utrecht address, a Chamber of Commerce number and a Dutch VAT number. Starter covers 5,000 clicks per month and PRO scales to 75,000 with a slider, billed monthly or yearly at a discount.

Smart Bidding Protection and Clean Remarketing Audiences are separate features meant to hand Google cleaner signals. A card is verified with a one-cent charge and nothing is billed during the trial.

What stands out
  • Click-volume pricing
  • Smart Bidding signals
  • Dutch company
Where it costs you
  • The 7-day trial applies no active exclusions, so the effect on your spend can only be judged once a plan has started.
  • Both plans are measured in clicks per month, so a traffic spike changes the tier you need.
Right for

Small advertisers and agencies who want a click-based price and a Dutch supplier

Wrong for

Advertisers who prefer a price tied to ad spend instead of clicks

NetherlandsPublished monthly prices by click volume; 7-day trial with card verification

#2 fraud0

Munich click fraud filter that also files Google Ads refund claims

Ranked #2 of 11 in Best Click Fraud Protection Software in 2026.

Published pricingEurope

The imprint of fraud0 GmbH shows a Munich address and a commercial register number. Starter covers up to 50,000 sessions a month and Pro up to 100,000, each with Google, Meta and Microsoft Ads protection and a Google Analytics connector.

Enterprise starts at 100,000 sessions and adds affiliate and form-fill checks plus a dedicated account manager. The refund process is described as Google-compliant, and the commission applies only to recovered spend above the baseline.

What stands out
  • Session-based pricing
  • Refund claims
  • German company
Where it costs you
  • The one-third commission on recovered spend makes the monthly price a floor, not the total.
  • Programmatic CPM, affiliate and form-fill protection are listed under Enterprise only.

Google Ads accounts that want refund claims filed for them alongside blocking

Wrong for

Teams who need one flat bill without a performance-based fee

#3 Fraud Blocker

Low-priced click fraud blocker with CSV export of blocked IPs

Ranked #3 of 11 in Best Click Fraud Protection Software in 2026.

Published pricingNorth America

The terms of use name Fraud Blocker LLC as the contracting party and apply the law of California. Starter covers one website and three team members, Pro fifty websites and ten members.

Every plan lists device fingerprinting, VPN and proxy blocking, customisable blocking rules, automated blocking and API access. An email verification add-on comes in bundles of 250 on Pro and 1,250 on Enterprise, and billing can run monthly, quarterly or yearly.

What stands out
  • Click-volume pricing
  • CSV export
  • Google and Meta
Where it costs you
  • Microsoft Ads is not among the three platforms the pricing page lists.
  • Data retention is 90 days outside Enterprise, which limits quarter-on-quarter comparisons.
Right for

Single-brand advertisers on Google and Meta who want a small monthly bill

Wrong for

Accounts running mostly Microsoft Ads or needing long click archives

United StatesPublished monthly prices by ad-click volume; 7-day trial, no contract

#4 ClickGuard

Spend-banded click fraud protection covering Google, Meta and Microsoft ads

Ranked #4 of 11 in Best Click Fraud Protection Software in 2026.

Published pricingNorth America

ClickGuard launched in 2016 and, by its own timeline, added Microsoft Ads protection in 2024 and Performance Max protection in 2025.

Plans are banded by monthly spend: up to 5,000, 50,000 or 100,000, then Custom with unlimited websites and a named customer success manager. Every plan lists unlimited clicks and management tools for agencies. The vendor states that more than 3,000 companies use it.

What stands out
  • Ad-spend pricing
  • Agency tools
  • Blacklist management
Where it costs you
  • Lite covers one website and a small monthly spend band, so most growing accounts outgrow it.
  • Conversion tracking is listed first on the Pro plan.
Right for

Agencies and online shops that want protection priced against their ad spend

Wrong for

Accounts whose monthly spend moves sharply from one month to the next

#5 Lunio

UK invalid traffic detection across search, social and display

Ranked #5 of 11 in Best Click Fraud Protection Software in 2026.

Pricing on requestEurope

PPC Protect Limited appears as the processor in Lunio's data processing agreement, with a registered office in Cheshire. The pricing page names a fraction of ad spend as the basis and offers a 14-day traffic audit with the full analytics.

Multiple workspaces with separate admin and user controls suit agencies. Click activity from every channel is stored for two years, which helps when you leave and need to rebuild blocklists.

What stands out
  • Spend-share pricing
  • Multichannel
  • Two-year click log
Where it costs you
  • No price is published, which means budgeting begins with a call to sales.
  • The fee follows a percentage of ad spend, so the bill climbs whenever your budget does.
Right for

Multichannel advertisers who want one invalid traffic view across platforms

Wrong for

Single-channel advertisers who want to see a price first

United KingdomQuoted as a small share of ad spend; 14-day traffic audit before buying

#6 Polygraph

An audit is offered to accounts with at least 10,000 ad clicks a month. A dedicated account manager comes with every package.

What stands out
  • Per-click pricing
  • One-line install
  • German company
Where it costs you
  • The monthly minimum is high for accounts with only a few thousand clicks.
  • The pages we read list an audit that needs 10,000 ad clicks a month, not a self-service trial.

#7 Spider AF

Tokyo-built click fraud protection with fake lead and affiliate modules

Plans list Google, Yahoo, Meta and Microsoft support, placement blocking with brand safety, and a named customer success manager from the first tier. Add-ons include GA4 integration, Ad Booster for blocking invalid conversions, and a YouTube channel blocklist.

What stands out
  • Click-volume pricing
  • Fake lead protection
  • Japanese company
Where it costs you
  • The Performance plan stops at 50,000 clicks a month, after which the price steps up sharply.

  • The listed entry price is labelled a limited promotion.

#9 Anura

US ad fraud detection sold on usage, with a 15-day trial

Ranked #9 of 11 in Best Click Fraud Protection Software in 2026.

Pricing on requestNorth America

Anura Solutions LLC lists a Middletown, Delaware address, and its about page credits Beth and Rich Kahn as founders. The trial includes an initial data review and an in-depth dashboard review, and identifies current fraud levels and their sources.

Solutions are grouped by feature, channel, threat and industry, with Ad Tag Protect and an IP database among the named features. Pricing is tailored to usage, so budgeting needs a quote.

What stands out
  • Quote only
  • 15-day trial
  • Lead and affiliate fraud
Where it costs you
  • No plan or price is published, and the page frames usage-based pricing around large marketing budgets.
  • Scope extends to lead generation, programmatic and arbitrage traffic, beyond what a small PPC account needs.
Right for

Advertisers with large mixed-channel budgets and affiliate or lead traffic

Wrong for

Small advertisers who want self-service sign-up and a visible price

United StatesQuoted per organisation, aimed at 50,000 dollars or more of monthly ad spend; 15-day trial without card

#10 Adscore

Dubai-based traffic scoring service priced per thousand impressions

Ranked #10 of 11 in Best Click Fraud Protection Software in 2026.

Published pricingMiddle East

The trial covers verification of up to 33,000 impressions with no credit card. The detection model is updated daily, according to the vendor.

What stands out
  • Impression pricing
  • Traffic scoring
  • API-based
Where it costs you
  • The pages we read do not describe automatic IP exclusion inside Google Ads accounts.
  • Billing follows daily impressions, so forecasts track traffic rather than ad spend.
Right for

Ad networks and publishers that buy or sell traffic and need a score

Wrong for

Advertisers who want a ready click fraud dashboard

Ranked #11 of 11 in Best Click Fraud Protection Software in 2026.

Published pricingMiddle East

What stands out
  • Traffic-tier pricing
  • WordPress bot filter
  • CHEQ group
Where it costs you
  • Traffic includes internal page views, so the plan limit is hard to predict from ad clicks alone.
  • Once prepaid annual visits are used, overage is billed at the rates of your plan.

How to choose click fraud protection software

Click fraud protection software checks ad clicks against signals such as IP address, device and behaviour, then excludes invalid sources from ad accounts or reports them for refund claims. Differences that change the outcome seldom sit in the features. Here is the sequence we would follow.

  1. 01

    Start with pricing transparency

The split is 9 published against 2 quoted. If you want to compare numbers first, start with ClickPatrol, fraud0, Fraud Blocker, ClickGuard, Polygraph, Spider AF, TrafficGuard, Adscore, ClickCease.

  2. 02

Ask which country the contract runs through

Headquarters range over 8 countries and 4 regions: Europe 4, North America 3, Asia-Pacific 2, Middle East 2. Legal exposure follows the vendor, not only the data centre, so read the contracting entity before you sign.

Choosing click fraud protection software by what the bill is measured in

Start with the unit on the invoice, because it decides whether growth gets expensive. ClickPatrol, Fraud Blocker and Spider AF count ad clicks, Polygraph also counts clicks but adds a monthly minimum, and fraud0 counts sessions. ClickGuard, Lunio and Anura relate the price to ad spend, while Adscore counts impressions and ClickCease counts traffic that includes page views.

Take last quarter's clicks, spend and sessions from your own reports and price each product against all three. Then add the extras that change the total: fraud0 takes a one-third commission on recovered spend, and Lunio and Anura give no price until you have spoken to sales. The cheapest entry plan is rarely the cheapest at your volume.

  • Convert last quarter's clicks, spend and sessions into each vendor's billing unit
  • Ask whether commissions, minimums or overage rates apply on top of the plan price
  • Get a written quote when the pricing page shows none

What a trial or audit can and cannot show you

Trials differ in what they let you see. The ClickPatrol trial shows incoming traffic but applies no exclusions, so it measures fraud, not the effect of blocking. TrafficGuard starts Shield in detection mode for 30 days, Anura runs its 15-day trial on the full feature set, and Lunio offers a 14-day traffic audit with all analytics.

Adscore lets you verify up to 33,000 impressions, and ClickCease and Fraud Blocker give seven days. Seven days covers only one weekly cycle of your spend. Run the trial through a normal budget cycle, note the percentage the vendor labels invalid, then check a sample of those clicks against your own server logs before you believe the number.

  • Find out whether blocking is active during the trial
  • Compare the vendor's invalid percentage with a sample from your own logs
  • Run the trial across at least one full week of spend

Leaving cleanly: blocklists, click logs and retention

Switching vendors means moving the exclusions already placed in your ad accounts, plus the history that justified them. Fraud Blocker exports blocked IPs to a CSV file, but keeps click data for only 90 days on Starter and Pro. Lunio stores click stream data for two years as first-party data, and ClickGuard lists blacklist management from its Standard plan.

An export matters most when you migrate to another tool. Ask each vendor whether exclusions stay in your account after cancelling and who owns the logs, and ask fraud0 what happens to refund claims still open when you leave. Test the export during the trial, not at cancellation, because a blocklist that cannot be opened by the next tool is a lock-in in practice.

  • Export a blocklist during the trial and open the file
  • Ask who owns click logs and how long they are kept
  • Check what happens to existing exclusions after cancellation

Platform coverage: Google, Meta, Microsoft and Performance Max

Coverage is uneven. Fraud Blocker lists Google, Facebook and Instagram, and its pricing page does not name Microsoft Ads. ClickGuard says it added Microsoft Ads protection in 2024 and Performance Max protection in 2025, while TrafficGuard's Shield plan covers Google Search only and puts Meta, affiliate and mobile in Enterprise.

Lunio names Google, Bing, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok and others. Spider AF adds fake lead and affiliate checks as separate products, and Anura reaches programmatic and search arbitrage. List every channel you pay for, including the small ones, and mark which plan covers each. A product that blocks your biggest channel but ignores the second one leaves the gap fraudsters use.

  • List each ad platform you pay for and the plan that covers it
  • Check if Performance Max or Demand Gen campaigns are covered
  • Ask whether lead forms and affiliate traffic need a separate product

What goes wrong most often when buying click fraud protection software

  • Buying on the entry price without converting your own clicks, spend or sessions into the vendor's billing unit.
  • Judging a trial by the vendor's own invalid percentage instead of sampling those clicks against your server logs.
  • Forgetting that an annual discount, such as the introductory ClickCease offer, expires and the regular price follows.
  • Choosing a scoring service such as Adscore for a Google Ads problem it does not describe a workflow for.

Frequently asked questions

6 answers
What is the best click fraud protection software in 2026?

Our ranking of 11 puts ClickPatrol first. ClickPatrol B.V. is registered in Utrecht, and its price page lists Starter and PRO plans by monthly click volume, so a small account can read its bill before signing up.

The trial shows incoming traffic but applies no exclusions, which means blocking is only seen after a plan starts. Both plans are capped by clicks, so a campaign that suddenly grows becomes dearer to protect.

Which click fraud protection tools publish their pricing?

9 out of 11 state a price model on their own site:

  • ClickPatrol: Published monthly prices by click volume; 7-day trial with card verification.
  • fraud0: Published monthly prices by session volume, plus a one-third commission on recovered Google Ads spend.
  • Fraud Blocker: Published monthly prices by ad-click volume; 7-day trial, no contract.
  • ClickGuard: Published monthly prices by ad spend band; trial, cancel anytime, no long-term contract.
  • Polygraph: Published per-click rates with a monthly minimum and a spend limit.
  • Spider AF: Published monthly prices by click volume; trial; Enterprise quoted.
  • TrafficGuard: Published promo price for the Google-only Shield plan with a 30-day trial; larger setups quoted.
  • Adscore: Published CPM tiers by daily impressions; trial for up to 33,000 impressions without card.
  • ClickCease: Published monthly prices by site and traffic tier; 7-day trial; larger brands go to CHEQ.

Everything else on the list is priced on request.

Is there a free click fraud protection tool?

No. None of the 11 offer a usable free tier.

Where are these click fraud protection software vendors established?

Across 8 countries (Europe 4, North America 3, Asia-Pacific 2, Middle East 2):

  • ClickPatrol: Netherlands.
  • fraud0: Germany.
  • Fraud Blocker: United States.
  • ClickGuard: United States.
  • Lunio: United Kingdom.
  • Polygraph: Germany.
  • Spider AF: Japan.
  • TrafficGuard: Australia.
  • Anura: United States.
  • Adscore: United Arab Emirates.
  • ClickCease: Israel.
What should you use instead of ClickPatrol?

Look at fraud0 (made for Google Ads accounts that want refund claims filed for them alongside blocking) and Fraud Blocker (made for Single-brand advertisers on Google and Meta who want a small monthly bill), which hold places two and three.

Who should not buy ClickPatrol?

Advertisers who prefer a price tied to ad spend instead of clicks. The 7-day trial applies no active exclusions, so the effect on your spend can only be judged once a plan has started..
