Best Treasury Management Software in 2026

Treasury management software gives a finance team one view of cash across banks and entities and the tools to pay, forecast and hedge from it.

Products range from cash dashboards to full treasury suites with debt and derivatives. This guide ranks twelve on setup effort, real price, exit, independence and fit, using vendor pages checked on 30 October 2026.

Paid placement of visibility is possible for vendors on this page. It leaves every entry, including its criticism, untouched, and we get nothing from outbound clicks. How that works.

In short

What treasury management software does

Treasury management software connects to company bank accounts and ERPs to show cash positions, forecast liquidity, execute payments and manage debt, investments and currency risk in one system.

How we ranked these

5 criteria, in order

Our order comes from five tests, taken in turn: effort to set up, what you really pay, what happens to your data on the way out, how locked in you are, and the intended customer. A separate rule reserves the first three places for challengers and moves the household names to place 4 and below. Reasons for the choice of tests, and for skipping a score out of ten, can be read on the how we work page.

#1 TreasuryCube

Houston-built cloud TMS that sells one fixed price with every module bundled

Ranked #1 of 12 in Best Treasury Management Software in 2026.

Pricing on requestNorth America

TreasuryCube's founding story is a complaint about pay-per-module pricing and long implementations, and its answer is a fixed price with modules and unlimited users included.

The platform runs multi-tenant on Azure, lists a 99.9 percent uptime commitment and a SOC 2 mark, and says it manages bank connections to 13,000-plus banks itself. The corporate office listed on its company page is in Houston, Texas, and it offers a support request form for existing clients.

What stands out
  • Fixed price
  • Unlimited users
  • Multi-tenant cloud
Where it costs you
  • Derivatives and hedging carry a Q1 2026 label on the site, so live status is unconfirmed
  • No public price list, only a pricing proposal after a demo
Right for

Mid-sized treasury teams wanting one all-in contract price instead of negotiating each module

Wrong for

Buyers who need verified hedge accounting today

United StatesFixed contract price stated by the vendor; amounts only in a pricing proposal after a demo

#2 Salmon Software

Dublin treasury vendor that runs on your servers or on its Azure cloud

Ranked #2 of 12 in Best Treasury Management Software in 2026.

Self-hostablePricing on requestEurope

Salmon's about page promises a dedicated project manager, onboarding training and support inside the licence fee, and says the product can be deployed on in-house servers or its Azure cloud.

The platform page covers cash, payments, deal capture, reporting, risk limits and ISO 27001 aligned controls. The company is Salmon Software Ltd, with its address on Fitzwilliam Square in Dublin, Ireland, and it publishes case studies and white papers.

What stands out
  • Self-hosted or Azure
  • Support in licence
  • Dublin vendor
Where it costs you
  • AI, advanced forecasting, netting and payment factory appear only as roadmap phases
  • No prices or plan structure on the site
Right for

#3 Atlar

Stockholm platform pairing live bank and ERP links with scheduled AI agents

Ranked #3 of 12 in Best Treasury Management Software in 2026.

Pricing on requestEurope

Atlar AB, registered in Stockholm, sells Connect, Essential, Professional and Enterprise plans. Audit trail retention rises from 12 months to 36 months and then unlimited. Its ERP list names NetSuite, Dynamics 365, SAP S/4HANA, Workday and newer ledgers.

Scheduled agents handle cash positioning and reconciliation, and a human approves each action, according to the vendor. The vendor announced a New York headquarters for its US expansion.

What stands out
  • Four plans
  • AI agents
  • Bank-ERP sync
Where it costs you
  • Connects to 100+ banks, fewer than vendors quoting 10,000
  • Payments and forecasting are locked behind the Professional plan
Right for

Scale-ups with several banks wanting API-first connections and a quick set-up

Wrong for

Groups with many local banks in uncommon markets

SwedenFour plans, Connect to Enterprise; every plan quoted individually

#4 Nomentia

Espoo software house selling treasury, payments and cash application as separate modules

Ranked #4 of 12 in Best Treasury Management Software in 2026.

Pricing on requestEurope

For a treasury team that would rather keep its bank connectivity with a European supplier, Nomentia fits. The payment hub is the most developed part, with statements, reconciliation and forecasting sitting beside it as separate modules.

Anyone buying just the forecast pays for an implementation without getting the point of the suite. Some screens still show the separate companies that the product was assembled from.

What stands out
  • Modular suite
  • 10,000+ bank links
  • Cash application
Where it costs you
  • Modules are scoped one by one, so the final quote is hard to predict
  • Buying the forecast alone leaves much of the suite unused
Right for

EU-headquartered groups wanting bank connectivity, payments and cash visibility from one European supplier

Wrong for

Small finance teams whose only need is a cash forecast

FinlandModular suite; amounts quoted after a demo

#5 Embat

Madrid cloud platform that bundles cash, reconciliation and payments in nine modules

Ranked #5 of 12 in Best Treasury Management Software in 2026.

Pricing on requestEurope

Embat is built around automatic reconciliation: bank movements are matched to the books across entities, and the forecast is drawn from that matched data.

A treasurer who rebuilds a consolidated spreadsheet every Monday has the clearest reason to buy. It is priced as an enterprise product with onboarding included, so smaller companies get better value by spending the same budget on something simpler.

What stands out
  • Nine modules
  • 15,000+ institutions
  • TellMe AI
Where it costs you
  • Rollout takes project effort rather than a quick signup
  • Scoped and priced beyond what a one-entity company needs
Right for

Mid-size European groups juggling many bank relationships across several legal entities

Wrong for

SpainModular plans; price proposal after a demo

#6 Trovata

API-first cash visibility tool with a base package price printed on its site

Ranked #6 of 12 in Best Treasury Management Software in 2026.

Published pricingNorth America

Trovata connects through direct bank APIs instead of overnight files, which brings balances and transactions in faster and keeps setup lighter than comparable treasury platforms. Forecasts are projected from that history of recurring flows.

Check the bank list first: a European firm banking with two regional lenders and one cooperative gets only part of the picture, and a partial forecast misleads more than having none.

What stands out
  • Published base price
  • API-first
  • Bank connectivity managed
Where it costs you
  • Coverage is strongest for US and big international banks
  • Sold mainly toward treasurers, with controllers an afterthought
Right for

Firms with large balances spread over several major banks that connect well

Wrong for

Small and mid-size European firms using regional or cooperative banks

United StatesBase package price published; TMS tier quoted

#7 TIS

Payments hub and cash forecasting built around bank connectivity and format libraries

Ranked #7 of 12 in Best Treasury Management Software in 2026.

Pricing on requestEurope

TIS is at heart a platform for bank links and payment control; the forecast is a by-product once the flows run through it.

A group with dozens of bank accounts and an audit committee worried about fraud can justify it on approval workflows and screening alone. Bought for forecasting only, it is poor value, and go-live timing rests with banks that reply at their own pace.

What stands out
  • Payments hub
  • 11k+ banks
  • SAP add-on
Where it costs you
  • Heavy infrastructure spend when only the forecast is wanted
  • Months-long rollout that depends on bank cooperation
Right for

Large corporate groups unifying bank links and payment approvals across many subsidiaries

Wrong for

Finance teams after nothing more than a cash forecast

GermanyQuoted per organisation; demo request only

#8 Serrala

Treasury and cash modules that run natively inside an SAP S/4HANA landscape

Ranked #8 of 12 in Best Treasury Management Software in 2026.

Pricing on requestEurope

For treasury, Serrala's draw is cash application: automated matching of incoming bank statement lines, at a hit rate that takes headcount out of a shared service centre. Matching rules and bank format coverage reflect German engineering.

SAP is home turf, though other ERPs connect too. A company on a cloud ledger that receives only a few hundred payments monthly gives the automation little to do, and delivery comes through consultants at enterprise rates.

What stands out
  • Runs inside SAP
  • Cash management
  • Payments
Where it costs you
  • Most of the value sits inside SAP landscapes
  • Customer-facing collections tooling is weaker than the matching engine
Right for

Large SAP estates with a daily pile of unmatched bank statement lines

Wrong for

Mid-size firms on a cloud ledger handling few payments

GermanyQuoted per organisation; demo and expert call

#9 Ripple Treasury (GTreasury)

GTreasury platform rebranded Ripple Treasury, with stablecoin settlement rails added

Ranked #9 of 12 in Best Treasury Management Software in 2026.

Pricing on requestNorth America

Before Ripple acquired it, GTreasury was a known treasury system for mid-size to large firms, and it still spans bank connectivity, cash positioning, forecasting, payments, netting and hedging. Shortlists usually pair it with Kyriba and ERP treasury modules.

The former CashAnalytics forecasting module can be bought separately, yet most of the cost lies in the wider platform. Leaving later means reconnecting every bank elsewhere, as with Kyriba and TIS.

What stands out
  • 300+ bank connectors
  • Digital assets
  • GSmart AI
Where it costs you
  • Pricing is quoted and modular, and rollout involves your banks
  • The change of owner leaves some doubt about the roadmap
Right for

Corporate treasurers seeking cash positioning, payments and forecasts inside a single system

Wrong for

Firms content to forecast cash straight from accounting data

United StatesQuoted per organisation; demo request

#10 HighRadius

Receivables vendor whose Treasury and Risk suite adds forecasting and cash management

Ranked #10 of 12 in Best Treasury Management Software in 2026.

Pricing on requestNorth America

On the treasury side HighRadius is an add-on to a wider receivables estate: credit, collections, cash application and deductions run together, which suits a large shared service centre and cuts headcount at that scale.

Entry costs are the catch. Expect three to six months of implementation, gain-share pricing tied to agreed KPIs, and dedicated process owners. Smaller buyers end up with an expensive reminder tool.

What stands out
  • Outcome-based fee
  • AI forecasting
  • Finance suite
Where it costs you
  • Gain-share fees are difficult to budget ahead of go-live
  • Quoted go-live runs from three to six months
Right for

Large finance operations adding treasury to order to cash, with separate credit and collections teams

Wrong for

Finance functions with fewer than about fifty people

United StatesOutcome-based pricing described by the vendor; amounts not shown

#11 Kyriba

San Diego treasury suite with ten-thousand-bank connectivity and an agentic AI layer

Ranked #11 of 12 in Best Treasury Management Software in 2026.

Pricing on requestNorth America

Kyriba is a complete treasury management system, covering FX risk, debt, investments, in-house banking and payments, with forecasting as just one module. At group scale the depth is real.

Judged on independence it falls short: partners join the implementation, contracts run for years, modules are priced separately, and moving the treasury history to another system is a programme of its own.

What stands out
  • 10,000 banks
  • Agentic AI (TAI)
  • Midsize edition
Where it costs you
  • Modular multi-year pricing climbs quickly
  • Large enterprise rollouts, and extracting yourself later is a project in itself
Right for

Group treasury departments wanting payments, risk and debt handled together on one platform

Wrong for

Firms with no treasury team whose only requirement is a cash forecast

United StatesQuoted per organisation; demo request

#12 ION Treasury

ION Group's treasury arm, selling Reval, Wallstreet Suite, IT2, Openlink and City Financials

Ranked #12 of 12 in Best Treasury Management Software in 2026.

Pricing on requestEurope

ION Treasury is the corporate treasury part of ION Group, and the old Wall Street Systems offer now appears on ION's site as Wallstreet Suite. Reval, a multi-tenant SaaS product, publishes 900-plus market data curves and ties to FXall, 360T, SAP and Oracle.

The site gives Dublin as the contact address for privacy matters, while offices span London, Milan and Pisa among other places, which shows how large the group is.

What stands out
  • Five products
  • Reval SaaS
  • Enterprise scale
Where it costs you
  • Five separate products make the choice itself a project
  • Reval takes three to six months to implement, by the vendor's own estimate
Right for

Global corporations with complex hedging and many entities that need a heavyweight suite

Wrong for

Small teams that only want cash visibility

How to choose treasury management software

Treasury management software connects to company bank accounts and ERPs to show cash positions, forecast liquidity, execute payments and manage debt, investments and currency risk in one system. Rather than compare features, settle the following points one after another.

  1. 01

Decide whether you need a published price

Only 1 of the 12 print a price; 11 quote per organisation. Comparable without a sales call: Trovata.

  2. 02

Look at where the vendor sits

Jurisdiction is a buying criterion here. The 12 vendors are spread over 6 countries (Europe 7, North America 5), and the home country determines which disclosure rules bind them.

What a treasury management system is priced on

Hardly anyone here prints a number. TreasuryCube says modules and unlimited users sit inside a fixed price, Trovata prints a base package for one bank, 100 accounts and 10 users, and HighRadius describes an outcome-based fee with no implementation charge. Atlar quotes four plans by banks, entities and usage, and Embat lets you choose from nine modules.

Kyriba, Nomentia, TIS and Ripple Treasury send you to a demo. The difference lies in what grows the invoice: accounts, banks, modules, users or results. Ask each vendor which unit goes up after year one, and write the answer into the proposal so the first renewal holds no surprises, and compare the quotes on the same user, bank and entity counts.

  • Ask which unit raises the price after year one.
  • Request implementation as its own line item.
  • Check whether AI features are charged separately.

Bank connectivity decides the first ninety days

A treasury system is only as good as its bank feeds. Kyriba claims daily connections to 10,000 banks, Nomentia 10,000-plus, TIS 11,000-plus and Embat 15,000-plus institutions, while Atlar reports 100-plus banks and Ripple Treasury 300-plus prebuilt connectors. These figures count different things, so a headline total tells you little.

Give each vendor your actual list of banks and countries and ask for a yes or no per bank. Trovata says bank onboarding takes a few weeks, and Ripple Treasury says liquidity management can go live in 90 days. Ask who carries the connection when a bank changes its format, name the person responsible in the contract, and whether that work sits inside the subscription or is billed by the hour.

  • Send your complete bank list and ask for each status.
  • Ask who maintains connections after a format change.
  • Ask for a go-live reference from your region.

Cash visibility is not the same as risk management

Some products stop at cash. Trovata puts hedging derivatives, capital markets and a sub-ledger in a separate TMS tier, TIS names payments and cash visibility as its solution areas, and Serrala focuses on cash and payments inside SAP. Others carry debt, investments and hedge accounting, among them Kyriba, TreasuryCube, Salmon and ION Treasury, where Wallstreet Suite is aimed at the largest organisations.

Decide before the demo whether your team books hedges, loans and guarantees. If it does not, a cash and payments product is usually cheaper and quicker to roll out, because fewer modules need configuring and testing. If it does, check that those modules are live and not on a roadmap page.

  • List the instruments you book today.
  • Ask which modules are generally available now.
  • Ask for hedge accounting evidence from a live client.

Hosting and ERP fit limit the shortlist

Salmon lets you install on your own servers or use its Azure cloud, while TreasuryCube and Reval are multi-tenant cloud services. Serrala's treasury runs inside S/4HANA, which suits an SAP shop and means little elsewhere. Atlar lists NetSuite, Dynamics 365, SAP S/4HANA and Workday integrations, and Trovata names NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle Fusion, SAP and FloQast.

Confirm in writing that your ERP is covered by a standard connector, who builds it, and whether journal entries flow back to the ledger. Also ask how often the sync runs, since Embat quotes a sync every few minutes and others batch daily. A missing connector turns into a services project quickly, and the exit then gets harder because your journals depend on that custom work.

  • Ask for the connector list for your exact ERP version.
  • Check whether journals post back automatically.
  • Ask who pays for custom integration work.

What goes wrong most often when buying treasury management software

  • Buying a full treasury suite when only cash visibility and payments are needed.
  • Counting a vendor's bank total without checking your own banks one by one.
  • Treating roadmap items such as AI forecasting or netting as features you can use today.
  • Skipping the question of who owns the platform after a rebrand or merger, as with GTreasury now trading as Ripple Treasury.
