Swoogo vs Bizzabo
Both Swoogo and Bizzabo are US-based event platforms, but they differ in how much a buyer can learn about the company. Swoogo states a Los Angeles headquarters, a 2015 founding and a 20 million USD Series B, while the Bizzabo pages we read name Bizzabo, Inc. and four offices but no headquarters or owner. Pricing opacity is the sharper gap: Swoogo publishes 11,800 USD per year for Professional, and Bizzabo shows only a Get a Demo button. Neither offers a trial on the pages we read, so both are bought through sales.
Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.
you want a stated annual price, unlimited events and registrants, and a clear list of paid add-ons before you speak to anyone. You also run many registration-led events and can budget for extra full users.
you want live streaming, networking, lead capture and sponsor management named within one suite and accept a quote-first purchase. You also have a large B2B event team and will ask for modules and event limits in writing.

Who stands behind each product
Swoogo's about page gives a Los Angeles, California headquarters at 1925 Century Park East, offices in Sydney and London, a 2015 founding and a 20 million USD Series B. Bizzabo's pages are thinner on this. Its contact page lists offices in New York, Tel Aviv, Kyiv and Montreal, and its privacy policy names Bizzabo, Inc. and refers to US law, but the pages we read state no headquarters address or owner. Swoogo answers the who-owns-this question more fully.

A published figure against a demo button
Swoogo prints its Professional plan at 11,800 USD per year, with one full user and one reporting user included, and says Enterprise is custom priced. Bizzabo shows no prices or plan names on its pricing page, only a Get a Demo button. That means a Swoogo buyer can put a number in a budget before any call, while a Bizzabo buyer cannot compare cost with anything until a salesperson has replied. The edge goes to Swoogo.

Trying before signing
Neither vendor's pricing page offers a trial or a free plan. Swoogo's page points to a demo-based sales route, and Bizzabo's carries a Get a Demo button and nothing else on the subject. Both buyers will therefore sit through a vendor presentation before touching the product, and neither can run a quiet test event alone. On this point the pages we read give no reason to separate the two vendors, so the round is level.
Depends on the buyer

What the licence does and does not cover
In Swoogo's Professional plan, events and registrants are unlimited. The extras are sold apart: Go Onsite Pro, the Go Attend mobile app, premium support, pro services, extra custom domains, single sign-on, sub-accounts and call for speakers. Bizzabo's pages name no plan, so we cannot say what its quote includes or caps. Swoogo is clearer about where the base fee stops, though the add-ons mean the final bill depends on which modules you choose. Enterprise terms are custom, so the same question applies there.
Edge: Swoogo

Feature scope on the product pages
Bizzabo lists registration and ticketing, a mobile app, lead capture, engagement, live streaming, networking, sponsor and exhibitor management and analytics on its pricing page. Swoogo's home page lists registration, event websites, marketing, mobile apps, session management, sponsor tools and more than 30 integrations. Both cover the full event cycle on paper. Bizzabo names live streaming and networking explicitly, which Swoogo's page does not, so Bizzabo takes this round narrowly. Check both lists against your own must-haves before the demo.

Where the buying process leaves you
Swoogo's cost grows with full users and modules, and the vendor shows no trial, so any quote needs checking line by line. Bizzabo shares that missing trial and adds the absence of any published price, so your first number arrives only after a sales conversation. Asking for modules and event limits in writing protects you in both cases. Both processes ask for patience, but Bizzabo asks you to start with less information than Swoogo does.

When neither fits
If you want self-serve sign-up and a visible price on both sides, neither page here gives you that. Stova is another suite worth a quote, and Certain is a further option for registration-led programmes.
Swoogo or Bizzabo: questions
3 answersWhat should I ask for before agreeing to a Bizzabo quote?
Ask for the modules, the event limits and the term written into the quote. The pricing page shows no plan names, so nothing public tells you what is included. Bizzabo also mentions no trial, so the demo is your only look at the product.
Which add-ons raise a Swoogo bill above the base licence?
Swoogo lists Go Onsite Pro, the Go Attend mobile app, premium support, pro services, extra custom domains, single sign-on, sub-accounts and call for speakers as add-ons.
Extra full users are also priced on top of the 11,800 USD Professional fee. Ask for one quote covering every module you plan to use.
Can I test either platform before buying?
Neither vendor mentions a trial or a free plan on the pricing page we read. Swoogo sells through demos, and Bizzabo shows a Get a Demo button. Plan for a vendor-led walkthrough rather than a self-serve test.
