Sendible alternatives: 14 social media management tools compared

Teams look for a Sendible alternative when the workspace model stops fitting: each workspace carries six social profiles, approvals start on the second plan, and white labelling is a paid add-on on the two top plans. They move to tools that count brands rather than workspaces, to per-user suites, or to cheaper schedulers with a permanent free tier.

Short answer: The first three alternatives to Sendible in our social media management ranking are Metricool, Publer and Planable. Our rule for order: vendors outside the big brands go first, and the largest names are not placed in the top three. Choose Metricool if you manage many small brands and want to count brands, not workspaces. All 14 alternatives below are ranked products from Best Social Media Management Tools in 2026, and each says where it differs from Sendible.

Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.

Sendible

#8 of 18 in our social media management ranking

  • Pricing: Per month by plan, published; unlimited users on all plans
  • Established in: United Kingdom
  • Built for: An agency managing many client brands with approvers on the client side
  • Not for: A single brand with one marketer and three accounts
01

Why buyers look past Sendible

  1. 01

    Six profiles to a workspace

The Sendible pricing page states that every workspace comes with 6 social profiles, and the plans give 1, 3, 7, 15 and 50 workspaces. Core therefore holds 6 profiles and Premium 42. A client with ten accounts needs a second workspace, so the plan ladder follows how clients are split, not just how many accounts exist.

  2. 02

Control features sit on the upper plans

Assignment and approvals first appear on Plus, content libraries, campaigns and custom branded reports on Premium, and dynamic-field bulk posting plus advanced user permissions on Elite. Sendible says Elite starts at $349 a month and Enterprise at $800, and that white labelling is an extra fee on both. An agency that wants its own branding pays for the top end.

  3. 03

The entry route is a trial, and plan prices load in the browser

Sendible lists a 14-day free trial and no permanent free plan. The monthly figures for Core to Premium are drawn by script on the pricing page, so we could not read them as text and do not quote them. Only Elite and Enterprise are given in words. Currencies are limited to dollars, euros and pounds.

What each one does differently

Metricool

Spain · Free plan; Starter from €16 a month for 5 brands; Advanced from €43 for 15 brands

Metricool prices by number of brands and not by workspace: the free plan covers 1 brand with 20 posts a month, Starter lists 5 brands at €16 and 10 at €29, and Advanced reaches 50 brands for €130. Team roles and post approval arrive on Advanced. The free plan leaves out LinkedIn and X.

Switch from Sendible if you manage many small brands and want to count brands, not workspaces.

Publer

Albania · Free plan; paid plans priced by social account and member; Enterprise on quote

Publer charges by social account and extra team member, with every tenth of each free, and gives unlimited workspaces from its Professional plan. The free plan is one user, three accounts and ten scheduled posts per account. Analytics and API access wait for Business. We could not read its paid amounts.

Switch from Sendible if you want to pay for accounts used and keep a free tier for small clients.

#1 out of 18 social media management products: read the Publer review →

Planable

Romania · First 50 posts free; Basic $33 and Pro $49 per workspace a month; add-ons extra

Planable is built around content approval and review, not inbox or reporting. Each workspace costs $33 (Basic: 60 posts, 4 social pages) or $49 (Pro: 150 posts, 10 pages) a month, users are unlimited, and analytics is a $12 add-on per workspace. The first 50 posts are free without a time limit.

Switch from Sendible if clients sign off every post and approvals matter more than reporting.

Agorapulse

France · 30-day trial; Standard $79, Professional $119, Advanced $149 per user monthly (annual)

Agorapulse charges per user, which reverses Sendible's unlimited-seat idea: Standard is $79 a user monthly on annual billing ($99 on monthly), Professional $119 and Advanced $149. Its draw is a shared inbox with saved replies and moderation rules on Advanced. The trial lasts 30 days with no card.

Switch from Sendible if the work is inbox-heavy and the team is small enough for seat pricing.

Agorapulse comes 10 of 18 when social media management products are ranked here →

Vista Social

United States · 14-day trial, no card; plans sized by profiles and users; add-ons from $75

Vista Social caps users where Sendible does not: Professional allows 15 profiles and 2 users, Advanced 30 and 3, Scale 70 and 4. Social listening on your own profiles is free, wider web and news listening starts at $75 a month, and employee advocacy starts at $199 for 25 people.

Switch from Sendible if you want listening and employee advocacy in the same tool as publishing.

SocialBee

Romania · 14-day trial; $29, $49 and $99 a month on monthly billing; agency plans above

SocialBee organises posts into content categories that recycle on a schedule, an evergreen approach Sendible lacks in this form. Plans cost $29 (5 profiles, 1 user), $49 (10 profiles) and $99 (25 profiles, 5 workspaces, 3 users per workspace) monthly, and each has a 14-day trial.

Switch from Sendible if you recycle evergreen posts by category on a fixed calendar.

SocialBee holds rank 11 among 18 entries in our social media management guide →

Loomly

United States · Starter $49 and Beyond $249 a month on yearly billing; Enterprise by quote

Loomly publishes two prices and a quote tier. Starter allows 12 social accounts and 3 users at $49 a month on yearly billing ($65 monthly), and Beyond allows 60 accounts with unlimited users at $249. Both include approval workflows, and calendars are unlimited. Beyond 60 accounts, pricing is by quote.

Switch from Sendible if you want built-in approval workflows and a clear two-step ladder.

Iconosquare

France · Free plan; from €9, €33 and €69 a month excluding VAT; 14-day trial

Iconosquare starts from analytics and adds scheduling. Its free plan covers 2 profiles and 1 user with 10 posts a month per profile, Starter costs from €9, Launch from €33 and Scale from €69, all excluding VAT and billed yearly. Plans are one-user at the lower tiers, so teams pay for the upper ones.

Switch from Sendible if reporting on Instagram and Facebook matters more than client workspaces.

Why Iconosquare is #9 among 18 social media management products →

Zoho Social

India · Free plan; 15-day trial; Standard to Agency Plus priced per brand

Zoho Social prices by brand, where one brand bundles up to 11 channels on Standard or 14 on Premium. It keeps a permanent free plan (1 brand, 6 channels, 1 team member), a 15-day card-free trial, and Agency tiers of 10 brands with 5 team members. Plan amounts did not render in our read.

Switch from Sendible if you already use Zoho CRM or Desk and want a free entry plan.

Zoho Social holds rank 15 among 18 entries in our social media management guide →

Buffer

United States · Free plan to 3 channels; $5 or $10 per channel monthly; 14-day trial

Buffer sells per channel, not per workspace: the free plan allows 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts each, Essentials is $5 per channel monthly and Team $10 per channel, with unlimited team members. Its scope is narrow, with no client workspaces or white label to compare with Sendible.

Switch from Sendible if you publish for a handful of channels and want to stay cheap.

Where Buffer stands: place 5 of 18 in the social media management ranking →

Later

Canada · 14-day trial; $18.75, $37.50 and $82.50 a month on yearly billing

Later groups profiles into social sets of eight, one for each network. Starter lists $18.75 a month on yearly billing for 1 set and 1 user, Growth $37.50 for 2 sets and 2 users, Scale $82.50 for 6 sets and 4 users. Extra users cost $3.75 each. Instagram scheduling and link in bio are its strengths.

Switch from Sendible if your content is visual and Instagram- and TikTok-led.

Full verdict on Later, which sits at number 6 of 18 for social media management →

Hootsuite

Canada · 14-day trial; Standard from $99, Professional $199, Advanced $399 per user

Hootsuite sells per user seat: Standard is listed from $99 and manages up to 10 social accounts, Professional from $199 with unlimited accounts, Advanced from $399, and Enterprise on quote. Approvals sit on Advanced. It suits larger organisations that want a long-standing suite and accept seat-based billing, the opposite of Sendible's approach.

Switch from Sendible if an organisation needs enterprise governance and accepts per-seat cost.

Where Hootsuite stands: place 13 of 18 in the social media management ranking →

Sprout Social

United States · 30-day trial; $79 to $399 per seat a month on annual billing

Sprout Social is priced per seat on annual billing: Essentials $79 and Standard $199 with 5 profiles, Professional $299 and Advanced $399 with unlimited profiles. A 30-day trial needs no card. Review management and a smart inbox are included, which makes it the most expensive route for a team of several users.

Switch from Sendible if you have a large team and a budget for seat pricing.

Our social media management guide puts Sprout Social at 12 of 18; read why →

Repostit

United States · 14-day trial, no card; $5 to $99 a month

Repostit is a reposting automation and not an agency dashboard. It takes every new TikTok and publishes it without the watermark to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, Threads, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Plans run from $5 for 10 video posts to $99 for 30 accounts per platform. It has no inbox, reporting or client workspaces.

Switch from Sendible if you only need to cross-post short video from one account.

When Sendible is still the right choice

Stay with Sendible if you run an agency or multi-location business with many client brands, because unlimited users on every plan is rare in this category. Per-seat tools such as Agorapulse, Hootsuite and Sprout Social cost more with each added colleague or client login, and several alternatives here cap users at two to four. If your accounts fit the 6-per-workspace rule and approvals on Plus are enough, nothing in the pricing page forces a move.

05

What moving off Sendible involves

  1. 01

Count profiles per client before pricing a new tool

List every client with its number of social profiles and the people who touch it. Sendible's 6-per-workspace rule groups them one way, Metricool counts brands, Buffer counts channels and Agorapulse counts users. Put the same inventory through each model, because the cheapest plan on one counting rule can be the dearest on another.

  2. 02

Move scheduled content and reports in stages

Publish nothing twice: finish the queue in Sendible, then connect the networks to the new tool and rebuild queues client by client. Export the standard reports you rely on first, since history stays in Sendible. If clients log in with Client connect, tell them the new link before you switch the profiles.

Questions about replacing Sendible

6 answers
What is the best alternative to Sendible as social media management software?

For multi-client work, Metricool (brand-count pricing, free plan, Starter from €16 a month), Publer (free plan, priced by account), Planable ($33 per workspace for approvals) and Agorapulse ($79 per user a month on annual billing) are the first four to compare.

None matches unlimited users on every plan, so the right one depends on how many people log in.

Does Sendible have a free plan?

The pricing page lists a 14-day free trial and no permanent free plan. Alternatives with a permanent free tier include Metricool, Publer, Buffer, Iconosquare and Zoho Social.

Which alternatives charge per user, and which do not?

Agorapulse, Hootsuite and Sprout Social bill per user seat. Planable and Buffer (on its Team plan) allow unlimited team members, while Loomly's Beyond tier does the same. Later sells extra users at $3.75 each, and Vista Social caps users from 2 to 4 by plan.

Is white labelling included in Sendible?

No. Sendible says white labelling is available on the Elite and Enterprise plans for an additional fee. Elite starts at $349 a month and Enterprise at $800. Metricool lists white label only in its custom plan.

How does Sendible count social profiles?

Each workspace comes with 6 social profiles. The plans include 1, 3, 7, 15 or 50 workspaces, so the profile ceiling is 6, 18, 42, 90 or 300 before adding workspaces through a custom plan.

Can I try these tools before paying?

Yes, mostly. Agorapulse allows 30 days, Zoho Social 15 days, and Sendible, Vista Social, SocialBee, Later, Buffer, Iconosquare and Repostit 14 days. Planable gives the first 50 posts free with no time limit.
