AppTweak alternatives: 11 app store optimization tools compared
Teams look for an AppTweak alternative when the one-seat plans stop fitting a shared ASO routine, when the step from Essential to Grow to Expand is a large jump in monthly cost, or when they want review handling or store analytics in the same login. Smaller ASO tools, review-first products and wider market-data suites each solve a different part of that.
Short answer: Looking for a replacement for AppTweak? ASODesk, ASOMobile and Appfigures come first in our app store optimization tool ranking. We open the ranking with smaller vendors and put the established brands from fourth place onward. Start with ASODesk if you need several teammates on one plan and want listing changes published from the tool. Each of the 11 alternatives sits in Best App Store Optimization Tools in 2026 and is described against AppTweak.
Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.
Pricing: Published EUR plans with annual totals; Enterprise priced custom; 7-day trial
Established in: Belgium
Built for: Teams wanting stated keyword and history limits on the page before any sales call
Not for: Buyers who need several seats or workspaces on a self-serve plan
01
Why buyers look past AppTweak
01
Seats and workspaces are limited
The AppTweak pricing page lists one seat and zero team workspaces on Essential, Grow and Expand alike. Team workspaces, SSO and a dedicated account manager appear only under the custom Enterprise tier. A studio with several people watching the same apps either shares a login or negotiates a quote.
02
Each step up in price is steep
Essential is listed at 79 euros a month on an annual total of 949, Grow at 249 euros with 2,990, and Expand at 499 euros with 5,990. Keywords rise from 500 to 1,500 to 3,000, and history from 6 to 12 to 24 months. Some features, such as the metadata simulator, begin only on Grow.
03
The pricing page needs careful reading
Alongside those figures the page shows other monthly amounts and labels the annual totals as billed monthly. Its followed-apps selector offers different counts from the comparison table, which shows five apps on every plan. We would confirm the final invoice amount and app count with the vendor before paying.
you want a priced package of installs or reviews, not an analysis tool

ASODesk
Cyprus · Published
ASODesk contracts through ASODESK CY LTD and describes itself as made in Cyprus. Its monthly plans spell out keyword, app, competitor and teammate limits, which speaks to the seat ceiling above. Metadata can be pushed to the App Store, and review replies run in 100 countries as priced add-ons. A Help Centre page names Angle Group as its parent.
Switch from AppTweak if you need several teammates on one plan and want listing changes published from the tool.
ASOMobile has four paid USD tiers with a yearly rate and a separate entry plan that stays available without payment, plus a 3-day trial on three of the paid plans. Limits cover keywords, apps, users, competitors and replies. We could not find a legal name, country or owner on its About page, and its coverage figures disagree between pages.
Switch from AppTweak if you want to test keyword tracking at volume before committing budget.
Appfigures, Inc. in New York leans towards analytics: downloads, revenue and reviews sit beside rankings. A free tier connects five apps, and a trial needs no credit card. Its cheapest paid plan tracks no keywords at all, so keyword depth begins higher up, and two sets of USD prices appear on the page without labels.
Switch from AppTweak if revenue and download numbers matter as much to you as keyword positions.
AppFollow starts from user feedback. It applies AI semantic analysis to reviews, drafts replies in your brand voice and routes tickets into helpdesks, with keyword and ranking tracking added alongside. The terms name AppFollow.fi Oy in Finland and AppFollow, Inc. in Delaware. Its pricing page shows a contact route and no amounts.
Switch from AppTweak if your support team and your ASO owner want one tool for reviews and rankings.
Appbot Pty Ltd, an Australian company, collects ratings and reviews from the App Store, Google Play and Microsoft Store and applies AI to sentiment, topics and emotions. Tiers are set by the number of sources, with a 14-day trial that takes no card. It tracks competitors and rating dashboards but lists no keyword research, and tier amounts are not shown.
Switch from AppTweak if reading and classifying reviews is your main job and keyword work is occasional.
App Radar publishes three EUR plans with app, keyword, competitor and seat limits and a 7-day trial that asks for a card. A bulk editor and automated translations help when one listing must be adapted for many countries. Its site carries a SplitMetrics copyright and names no country, so ownership is not independent.
Switch from AppTweak if you localise store listings across many markets and want bulk editing.
MobileAction lists three ASO tiers in USD with yearly rates, from entry to Pro, and a 7-day trial on those plans. Its footer shows InMobi Advertising as owner. Much of the site covers Apple Ads bidding and ad intelligence, and the Enterprise modules, API and managed services carry no published price.
Switch from AppTweak if you also want Apple Ads automation next to keyword tracking.
SplitMetrics, Inc. is first an Apple Ads and store A/B testing vendor, with App Radar as its ASO tooling. A Starter plan has no time limit, App Intelligence is priced monthly and Enterprise is quoted. The pages we read mention no trial for paid plans, and ASO is one line in a wider portfolio.
Switch from AppTweak if creative testing and ad bidding are the real goal, with ASO as a side task.
Gummicube, founded in 2009, sells ASO as a service built on its DATACUBE and Splitcube technology: metadata work, creative testing and managed Apple Search Ads. Airship Group, Inc. owns it as a division. No plans or amounts are published, a pricing URL failed to load for us, and no office country is stated.
Switch from AppTweak if you would rather hand ASO to an agency than operate a tool yourself.
Sensor Tower was founded in 2013 and is based in San Francisco. Its portfolio covers app performance data, advertising insights, web audience data and gaming metrics, so keyword rankings are a small corner. Prices are customised after a demo request, and the page names no trial or entry plan.
Switch from AppTweak if your questions are about market share and competitors, not only keywords.
ASO World, from Hong Kong, sells installs, ratings and reviews as fixed dollar packages with per-unit rates and 50% off a first order. It supplies purchased volume, not keyword data or software to analyse it, so it answers a different need from AppTweak. We would treat it as a service to evaluate carefully against store guidelines.
Switch from AppTweak if you want a priced package of installs or reviews, not an analysis tool.
ASODesk: Plans state teammate limits, and metadata can be published to the App Store from the tool.
02
You want to try keyword tracking without paying first
ASOMobile: A free plan is listed as always available, though the About page names no legal entity.
03
You care about downloads and revenue as well as rankings
Appfigures: A free tier connects five apps and the trial takes no credit card.
04
Your main problem is handling a flood of reviews
AppFollow: AI analysis and brand-voice replies route into helpdesks, with keyword tracking alongside; amounts come on request.
05
You localise one listing for many countries
App Radar: A bulk editor and automated translations are listed, with a 7-day trial that needs a card.
04
When AppTweak is still the right choice
AppTweak remains a sound choice for a single analyst or small team that wants a Brussels-based suite with every limit printed on the pricing page. The 7-day trial lets you test keyword volumes, competitor metadata and reporting before paying, and the Grow and Expand tiers add the metadata simulator, creative and in-app event explorers. If your difficulty is only seats, ask about Enterprise before changing tools.
05
What moving off AppTweak involves
01
Keyword lists and history do not transfer
Export your tracked keywords, competitor sets and reports before cancelling, because history in a new tool starts from the day you connect. AppTweak keeps 6, 12 or 24 months by plan, so a new tool will need time before trend charts become comparable.
02
Reports and alerts must be rebuilt
Scheduled reports, Slack and email alerts and Reporting Studio views are configured per account. List each recipient and cadence, then recreate them in the new tool and run both in parallel for a few weeks to check that rankings agree.
