Gong vs Chorus

Gong is a stand-alone revenue platform with forecasting, engagement and coaching modules. Chorus is a call-analysis product sold inside ZoomInfo, with ZoomInfo contact data pulled in. Neither publishes a price, so the choice rests on whether you already buy from ZoomInfo and how much platform you want.

Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.

Where they differ

  1. 01

    What a quote looks like

Gong's pricing page says licences are priced per user, with a platform fee based on the number of users supported, and it shows no figures. Chorus has no price either, and its product page offers a demo request as the route in. Neither can be budgeted from the website alone.

    Depends on the buyer

  2. 02

    Breadth beyond call recording

Gong lists Forecast for pipeline and deal-risk signals, Engage for outreach and Enable for coaching, plus custom agents built in plain English. Chorus lists recording, coaching, deal intelligence with CRM sync, and analysis of won and lost deals. Gong's page names more modules.

    Edge: Gong

  3. 03

    Ties to a data supplier

Chorus pulls ZoomInfo contact and company data into its calls through Connected Intelligence, which suits an existing ZoomInfo customer. A team on another data source gets less from that. Gong stands on its own and lists a bi-directional Salesforce link and 300+ partners in its Collective.

    Edge: Chorus

  4. 04

    Contract terms we could read

Gong's terms renew subscriptions for one-year periods unless notice arrives 60 days before the end, and promotional pricing renews at list. We read no renewal term for Chorus on the pages we used, so we cannot rank it. Ask both for the renewal clause in writing.

    Depends on the buyer

03

When neither fits

If you want published prices or a smaller tool, neither fits well. Fathom AI and Avoma are two other tools in our conversation intelligence list worth quoting against.
