SISTRIX alternatives: 11 SEO tools compared

SISTRIX is a German visibility suite, and people leave it for practical rather than dramatic reasons: the entry package is small, the extras are metered, and a few teams need link data or a crawler on their own machine that it does not advertise. Some move to a wider suite, others to a single-purpose tool that costs less.

Short answer: Seobility, Mangools and Nightwatch head the list of SISTRIX alternatives drawn from our SEO tool ranking. Where a category has smaller vendors worth recommending, they occupy the first three places and the big brands come below them. Seobility is the one to try if you want German-made audits and tracking at a lower entry cost. Below are 11 alternatives, each taken from the Best SEO Tools in 2026 ranking, with its main difference from SISTRIX.

Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.

SISTRIX

#1 of 16 in our SEO tool ranking

  • Pricing: Per package per month, published; 14-day trial
  • Established in: Germany
  • Built for: Teams who want one tool with monthly cancelation and European-held data
  • Not for: Anyone needing many users or projects on the cheapest package
01

Why buyers look past SISTRIX

  1. 01

The entry package is tightly sized

The Start package costs 119 euros a month and includes one user, three projects, 10,000 results per analysis and 3 months of data history. Its page marks additional users and projects as not available there, so a second colleague or a fourth site means moving up to Plus at 239 euros.

  2. 02

Growth is charged by the unit

Beyond the package, SISTRIX bills projects, extra users at 24.90 euros, crawled URLs, SERP updates, reports and export credits separately. Start allows 1,000 export and API credits a week, and the API is not part of Start or Plus. Agencies that export a lot need to model the add-ons first.

  3. 03

Link data and country coverage are not what the pages lead with

The home page lists Visibility, Competitors, Onpage, Content and Social modules, and we found no mention of backlink data there or in the FAQ. The pricing page names over 40 countries for Start in its FAQ and 30 plus for the Visibility Index, so check your target markets and your link needs.

What each one does differently

Seobility

Germany · Published

Seobility GmbH is based in Nuremberg and runs a permanent free plan, which gives a team a way to try site audits at one project and 100 pages per crawl. The paid plans cap projects, pages per crawl and tracked keywords, and start at 300 keywords. A 14-day trial applies to paid plans.

Switch from SISTRIX if you want German-made audits and tracking at a lower entry cost.

Mangools

Slovakia · Published

Mangools, from Slovakia, bundles keyword research, SERP analysis, rank tracking, backlinks and site metrics in one subscription. Limits are daily lookups, not a monthly pool, and the refund window is 48 hours. A free plan exists, while sub-users appear from Premium upward.

Switch from SISTRIX if you want several small tools under one cheap login.

Nightwatch

Slovenia · Published

Nightwatch, run by Kundi d.o.o. in Slovenia, tracks rankings every day and checks whether AI assistants mention a brand. Starter covers 500 keywords on 5 sites, and a 14-day trial needs no card. Backlink analysis does not appear on its pricing page, and paid fees are generally not refunded.

Switch from SISTRIX if daily rank and AI mention tracking is the main thing you use.

AccuRanker

Denmark · Published

AccuRanker ApS of Aarhus sells ranking data by keyword tier alone, from 2,000 on Professional to 25,000 on Expert, with Enterprise above that. Reports leave as CSV, Excel, Sheets or PDF. It has no crawler or link index, so it complements a suite, and its pricing page mentions no trial.

Switch from SISTRIX if you track many keywords and export reports to clients.

Sitebulb

United Kingdom · Published

Sitebulb Limited, registered in Kent, sells audits two ways: a desktop licence in Lite and Pro tiers, and a cloud version for shared crawls. Lite audits up to 10,000 URLs and Pro up to 500,000. Extra Pro users are billed monthly. Keyword and link data are outside what its pricing page shows.

Switch from SISTRIX if technical audits with visual reports matter more than keyword data.

Screaming Frog

United Kingdom · Published

Screaming Frog installs on your machine, and its free edition stops at 500 URLs. A licence per user per year lifts that cap, bounded only by memory and storage, and the price falls as licences are added. The company is a search agency in Henley-on-Thames, and the pricing page mentions no trial.

Switch from SISTRIX if you only need a crawler and prefer an annual licence to a monthly bill.

Majestic

United Kingdom · Published

Majestic-12 Limited, registered in Birmingham, sells link intelligence measured in analysis units. Lite gives one user a million units and the Fresh Index, while the Historic Index and API start at Pro. Trust Flow and Citation Flow are its own metrics, and money back is offered for seven days.

Switch from SISTRIX if backlink data is the gap you want to fill.

SE Ranking

Not stated by the vendor · Published

SE Ranking prices by projects, manager seats and daily tracked keywords: Core has one seat and ten projects, Growth three seats and thirty. Agency Pack, AI Search and API are add-ons, and the agency and API ones need annual billing. Terms follow California law, with a UK branch and a US corporation behind it.

Switch from SISTRIX if you manage many client projects and want seats priced in the plan.

Serpstat

United States · Published

Serpstat meters daily searches and monthly position checks. Individual allows 100 searches a day and 5 projects, Team adds API access and three users, and Agency lists white-label reports and 30 users. The 7-day trial takes a refunded card charge. The operator is a Delaware corporation with a Bulgarian EU representative.

Switch from SISTRIX if you want API access and more seats without moving to a top tier.

Ahrefs

Singapore · Published

Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. calls itself bootstrapped and is based in Singapore. Lite includes one user, five projects and 750 tracked keywords, and each extra seat on higher plans is billed monthly. Site audits spend crawl credits that vary by plan, and Enterprise needs an annual commitment through sales.

Switch from SISTRIX if you need a large link index and accept billed seats and crawl credits.

Semrush

United States · Published

Semrush Inc. of Boston became part of Adobe on 28 April 2026, so it is no longer independent. Plans cap websites and daily tracked keywords, extra users and report packs are billed on top, and a free plan allows one demo project and ten daily reports.

Switch from SISTRIX if you want the widest toolset and are content with a large owner.

Which alternative for which situation

  1. 01

You want a small German tool with a free plan to start

Seobility: The free plan covers one project at 100 pages per crawl, and paid plans carry a 14-day trial.

  2. 02

You need daily rankings and AI mention checks

Nightwatch: Starter tracks 500 keywords on 5 sites, with a 14-day trial that needs no card.

  3. 03

You only need a crawler on your own machine

Screaming Frog: The free edition stops at 500 URLs, and an annual licence per user lifts the cap.

  4. 04

You want link data from a specialist

Majestic: Lite gives one user a million analysis units, with the Historic Index starting at Pro.

  5. 05

You manage several clients and need seats in the plan

SE Ranking: Core has one seat and ten projects, Growth three seats and thirty.

04

When SISTRIX is still the right choice

SISTRIX stays the sensible choice if visibility over time is your main measure. The Visibility Index is its core product, Premium and Professional hold 11 years of history, and monthly cancellation means a wrong decision costs one month. It also states that all data is held in Europe, which settles a question that other suites leave open. If your work is German-language search, check the cheaper packages first.

05

What moving off SISTRIX involves

  1. 01

    History does not travel

Premium and Professional hold 11 years of history, and Start only 3 months. Export the Visibility Index and keyword lists for your key domains before cancelling, and keep the files, since another tool will start its own history from the day you add the project.

  2. 02

    Metrics will not match

A different tool counts keywords, positions and visibility with its own method, so charts will not line up across the switch. Run both tools side by side for a month, write down the offset, and tell clients before the numbers change.

Questions about replacing SISTRIX

6 answers
What does SISTRIX cost?

SISTRIX lists Start at 119 euros a month, Plus at 239, Professional at 419 and Premium at 799, billed in euros and plus taxes. Enterprise is quoted. An annual contract lowers the monthly price, and we did not read the discount figure on the page.

Can I cancel SISTRIX at any time?

Monthly packages can be cancelled at any time, and an annual contract ends at the close of each year of use. Upgrades take effect straight away with a pro-rata refund, and downgrades wait for the next billing period.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, the pricing page offers 14 days. Seobility also has a 14-day trial on paid plans, Nightwatch gives 14 days without a card, and Mangools and Semrush keep free plans.

Where does SISTRIX keep its data?

The home page and the FAQ state that SISTRIX is based in Germany and holds all data exclusively within Europe. Neither names a data centre or a provider.

Does SISTRIX include backlink data?

We found no mention of backlink data on its home page or FAQ. For link research, Majestic sells link intelligence on its own, and Ahrefs includes it in a wider plan.

Which alternative is cheapest to try?

Seobility and Mangools have permanent free plans, and Screaming Frog is free up to 500 URLs. Each is narrower than SISTRIX, so use them to test a single job rather than a full replacement.
