TeamViewer vs AnyDesk
Both vendors are German, both sell annual subscriptions and both charge for the person who starts a session, not for the person helped. AnyDesk prints euro prices per concurrent connection on its pricing page. TeamViewer's pricing page, as we could read it, shows plan names and add-on trials but no prices. AnyDesk is easier to cost out in advance.
Vendors can pay for visibility on this site; it never changes what we say about a product. How that works.
you want a free personal-use version to try first, accept that list prices sit behind a configurator, and are happy with a stated 28-day cancellation window.
you count simultaneous support sessions, want euro prices you can calculate before talking to sales, and can live with annual billing only.

Can you see the price
AnyDesk publishes Solo at 29,90 euro, Standard at 49,90 and Advanced at 111,90 per month on annual billing, with a 20% first-year discount banner. Ultimate is quoted. The TeamViewer pricing page we fetched names Business, Premium and Corporate and a custom Tensor licence, but its text shows no amounts. We therefore cannot compare cost per seat. Check TeamViewer's configurator yourself.

How the licence is counted
AnyDesk counts concurrent connections: Standard starts at one and scales to 20 at 44,90 euro each per month, Advanced starts at two and scales to 50. TeamViewer defines licensed users, managed devices and concurrent connections, but the page gives no limit per plan. Both state that only the person starting the session needs a licence. AnyDesk's model is the one we can price.

Contract and cancelling
TeamViewer subscriptions renew every 12 months unless cancelled at least 28 days before the term ends, by support ticket or written notice. AnyDesk's FAQ says it offers annual billing only and renews automatically unless you tell it beforehand, without naming a notice period. TeamViewer's stated window is concrete; AnyDesk's is not.

Free use and trials
AnyDesk says it is free for personal use, and every business plan card carries a Start Business Trial button. TeamViewer's personal-use page describes a free version, but its pricing page lists a 30-day trial only for five add-ons, such as Device Monitoring and Endpoint Security, and none for the base plans. For testing a paid plan before buying, AnyDesk is clearer.

Enterprise tier
Both end in a quoted plan. TeamViewer Tensor is a fully customised licence with single sign-on, mass deployment (MSI) and auditing. AnyDesk Ultimate is quoted too and adds single sign-on, a self-hosted option and CRM and ITSM integrations. On AnyDesk, hosting the server yourself is limited to Ultimate. We did not verify TeamViewer's hosting options.
Depends on the buyer
When neither fits
If you want a free open-source client, RustDesk and Apache Guacamole sit in our remote desktop ranking, and Getscreen offers a one-time Personal Lifetime licence. None of them is priced per connection.
TeamViewer or AnyDesk: questions
4 answersIs TeamViewer or AnyDesk cheaper?
We can only price AnyDesk: Solo 29,90 euro, Standard 49,90 and Advanced 111,90 per month on annual billing, with extra connections at 44,90 euro each. The TeamViewer pricing text we fetched contained no amounts, so we make no claim on its cost.

Are TeamViewer and AnyDesk free for personal use?
Both vendors describe a free personal-use version. Business use needs a paid licence on both. Check each vendor's terms on what counts as commercial.
Where are the two vendors based?
Both in Germany: TeamViewer Germany GmbH in Göppingen and AnyDesk Software GmbH in Stuttgart, per their legal notices.
