Outreach vs Salesloft

These are two quote-only enterprise platforms whose scope runs well past cadences. Outreach sells four Amplify packages priced per user with AI credits, adding deal agents, conversation intelligence and forecasting. Salesloft pairs cadences with conversation intelligence and completed its merger with Clari in December 2025. Teams wanting one product look at Outreach; teams drawn to Clari's forecasting look at Salesloft.

Vendors can pay for visibility on this site; it never changes what we say about a product. How that works.

  1. 01

    What sits beside the cadence

Outreach surrounds sequencing with conversation intelligence, deal management, deal health alerts and, in its top package, forecast projection and scenario planning. Salesloft lists Cadence, Conversation Intelligence, Deals, Rhythm and Clari Forecast as its products. The two line-ups now overlap heavily, so the better choice depends on which module your team would actually open each week and how each performs in a trial.

    Depends on the buyer

  2. 02

    One sequencing product or two

Salesloft's site lists Groove, the sequencing tool that came with Clari, as a separate login beside its own Cadence product, which makes it reasonable to ask which of the two the roadmap favours. Outreach sells a single sequencing platform across its Amplify packages. For a buyer who wants no ambiguity about the core product's future, Outreach is the simpler position.

  3. 03

    How forecasting is packaged

Outreach places forecast projection, scenario planning and territory management in Amplify Pro, the highest of its four packages, so a team buying sequences on Amplify Core does not get them. Salesloft's forecasting is Clari Forecast, a long-established product joined to Salesloft by the merger completed on 3 December 2025. One is a tier upgrade, the other a newly combined product; press both on integration depth.

    Depends on the buyer

  4. 04

Price and fit for smaller teams

Neither publishes a figure. Outreach does state its basis: per-user pricing with no platform fee, support included, and an AI credit allowance rising from 10,000 on Amplify Essentials to 100,000 on Amplify Pro. Salesloft's pricing page lists products and a talk-to-sales button without plan names. Both are a mismatch for a small team that only runs email cadences.

    Depends on the buyer

03

When neither fits

Neither is sensible for a small team running three-step email cadences, which would be paying for a sales execution platform it never opens. Lemlist publishes tiers with unlimited users on its entry plan, and Woodpecker bills per 100 contacted prospects with unlimited seats.

Outreach or Salesloft: questions

4 answers
Do Outreach and Salesloft publish pricing?

No figures. Outreach names four packages, Amplify Essentials, Core, Plus and Pro, priced per user with an AI credit allowance and no platform fee. Salesloft lists its products and directs buyers to sales. Before comparing quotes, list which modules your reps would open every week.

Has Salesloft merged with Clari, and does Outreach have anything similar?

Yes. Salesloft's newsroom reports that the merger with Clari completed on 3 December 2025, with Steve Cox as chief executive of the combined company. Clari Forecast now appears among Salesloft's products. Outreach has built its forecasting and deal features inside its own Amplify packages.

Is Outreach or Salesloft better for forecasting?

Outreach forecasts from the same activity data its sequences produce, but lists forecast projection and scenario planning only in Amplify Pro, its top package.

Salesloft offers Clari Forecast, a dedicated forecasting product acquired through the merger. Ask each for a trial on your own pipeline data.

Where do sequences sit in Outreach's packages?

Multi-channel sequences are listed from Amplify Core upwards. Amplify Essentials centres on conversation intelligence, meeting preparation, coaching and deal management. A team that mainly wants cadences should therefore be quoted on Core or above, and check how far its AI credit allowance stretches.
