Northbeam is an American attribution product for ecommerce brands, and its price follows advertising budget. Buyers who look elsewhere tend to be smaller shops, lead-based businesses, European teams or companies that want a fixed price they can read before a sales call. The tools below cover published visit-based tiers, revenue bands, warehouse-minded data hubs and managed measurement services.
Short answer: The first three alternatives to Northbeam in our marketing attribution software ranking are Ruler Analytics, Attribution App and Wicked Reports. Places 1 to 3 go to challengers, vendors outside the best-known brands in a category, wherever the category has them; the established names follow from place 4 in their ranked order. Choose Ruler Analytics if your revenue is closed by calls and sales staff, and you want a UK vendor with published tiers. All 11 alternatives below are ranked products from Best Marketing Attribution Software in 2026, and each says where it differs from Northbeam.
Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.
Pricing: Tiers by ad spend, from-prices shown; quote requested on each
Established in: United States
Built for: Ecommerce brands with large ad budgets wanting MTA plus media mix modelling
Not for: B2B teams selling through sales calls and long cycles
01
Why buyers look past Northbeam
01
Cost rises with what you spend on ads
Northbeam's pricing page sorts customers by media budget: Starter for brands under $1.5M a year in ads, Professional for up to $500K a month, Enterprise above that, and Growth for seven-figure brands under $200K a month. Every tier carries a contact-us-for-a-quote button, and the page says exact quotes depend on pageviews and need a demo. A brand that scales its advertising should expect its attribution bill to scale too.
02
Tier boundaries are uneven and features are gated
Starter is described per year and Professional per month, so the ranges overlap and the page's FAQ points to Enterprise above $250K a month while the tier card says $500K. Unlimited users, data exports and non-Shopify ecommerce integrations begin at Professional, listed from $3,500 a month on annual terms. Granular touchpoint export, hourly conversion data and MMM+ sit with Enterprise.
03
Built around ecommerce ad platforms
The integrations page names ad and marketing platforms such as Facebook, Google Ads, TikTok, Klaviyo and Criteo, and says other sources are added over time. It does not mention B2B pipelines or lead-gen CRMs, and Starter is described for Shopify brands. A company that sells through sales calls, forms or phone leads may find the fit narrower than it is for a web shop.

Ruler Analytics
United Kingdom · Published
Ruler Analytics, from Liverpool, follows leads through forms, calls and chat into Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics 365. Tiers are set by monthly site visits and published, with 10% off for annual billing. Every tier lists onboarding, a dedicated customer success manager and phone support. Data-driven attribution begins at the Medium tier.
Switch from Northbeam if your revenue is closed by calls and sales staff, and you want a UK vendor with published tiers.
Attribution App states a single Pro plan for HubSpot, Salesforce or Twilio Segment users, billed monthly by tracked visitors, plus a 14-day trial and a cheaper Shopify plan. Support is by email. Visitors beyond the limit are billed per thousand, and warehouse tools stay on a quoted Custom tier.
Switch from Northbeam if you run on HubSpot or Salesforce and want a monthly price and a trial before talking to anyone.
Wicked Reports bills by trailing twelve-month gross revenue in four published monthly bands, so seats and ad budget do not move the invoice. Its strength is lifetime-value cohort reporting for ecommerce and subscription shops. The Meta conversion signal and nightly AI analysis are add-ons until the third band.
Switch from Northbeam if you want the price tied to revenue and care about customer lifetime value more than channel mix.
Usermaven runs attribution beside website and product analytics from one tracking script, with unlimited websites and cookieless or server-side tracking in each plan. Its page names Business and Enterprise but prints no figure for either. Warehouse export and private deployment are Enterprise items.
Switch from Northbeam if a SaaS team wants product and marketing analytics in one tool and accepts a demo before pricing.
Cometly sells Core and Enterprise plans sized to monthly pageviews and quoted on a call, with no trial because setup needs your CRM and ad accounts. Yearly billing takes 20% off. Moving into a higher pageview tier promotes you at the next billing period, and warehouse sync is Enterprise only.
Switch from Northbeam if you sell B2B SaaS and your volume is best measured in pageviews, not ad spend.
SegmentStream is a London firm whose projects come with a measurement expert, onboarding and continuing consulting. It covers cross-channel and CRM funnel attribution as well as incrementality testing, and offers US or EU data residency. The price is set after a discovery call, with no seat cap.
Switch from Northbeam if you want a named expert and an EU data residency option more than a self-serve login.
Hyros offers one plan with everything included, priced on a set-up call by the revenue it tracks. Its guarantee has conditions: written refund requests within 90 days of the first charge, no refund after a chargeback, and renewal for an equal term unless cancelled 30 days before the end.
Switch from Northbeam if you sell high-ticket offers by call and want everything bundled, having read the renewal terms.
HockeyStack targets B2B revenue teams, with attribution reports, lift reporting, buyer journeys and an AI analyst called Odin on one data model. Its pricing page prints no plan or figure and routes buyers to a demo form, noting that integrations and hands-on support are in every plan.
Switch from Northbeam if your pipeline is B2B and you want account journeys rather than ecommerce order attribution.
Lifesight treats attribution as one input to causal measurement. Incrementality-adjusted attribution and geo tests are in every plan, and MMM starts at Precision. Contracts are annual and scoped, and the vendor says the product is meant for mid-market and enterprise brands.
Switch from Northbeam if you want incrementality tests and MMM from the same vendor and have a mid-market budget.
Funnel, a Stockholm company, is a marketing data hub with attribution sold as the Measure add-on, available with Business or Enterprise. Starter and Business tiers are published and billed annually, with a 30-day trial without a card. You pay for the data layer under the attribution.
Switch from Northbeam if you need ad and marketing data gathered in one place first, and attribution second.
Rockerbox combines multi-touch attribution, MMM and incrementality testing, and its privacy notice says it is wholly owned by DoubleVerify Holdings. A free plan covers brands spending under five million a year but omits first-party data and deduplication. Beyond the Shopify Starter plan, you talk to an expert.
Switch from Northbeam if you want a free plan to test with and are comfortable with a parent company that sells ad verification.
Ruler Analytics: It follows leads from forms, calls and chat into Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics 365, with onboarding and a customer success manager in every tier.
02
You want a trial and a monthly price before any call
Attribution App: The Pro plan is billed monthly by tracked visitors and comes with a 14-day trial.
03
You want your bill to follow revenue, not ad spend
Wicked Reports: Four published monthly bands are set by trailing twelve-month gross revenue.
04
You need your data held in the EU
SegmentStream: The London firm lists US or EU data residency and assigns a measurement expert to each project.
05
You want to test with a free plan first
Rockerbox: A free plan exists for brands spending under five million a year, without first-party data or deduplication.

When Northbeam is still the right choice
Northbeam remains a sound choice for an ecommerce brand with a large media budget on many ad platforms. It lists first-party connections to the major networks, a deterministic view-through model, MMM+ and incrementality on top, and Enterprise support through a dedicated success manager and Slack channel. If your spend already sits in the Professional or Enterprise range and your sales happen on a web shop, the ad-spend pricing mostly reflects the work it does.
05
What moving off Northbeam involves
01
Rebuild the tracking before you cancel
Attribution depends on a pixel, UTMs and order data, which the Northbeam docs list under onboarding and channels. A new tool needs its own tracking in place and a period where both run side by side, so compare reported revenue by channel before you switch off the old one.
02
Expect different numbers, not wrong ones
Each vendor defines its models and attribution windows differently, and the Northbeam docs we reached did not state theirs. Agree internally which source counts as the reference, and rebase last quarter's figures so reports do not show a false jump on the switch date.
03
Check the contract term first
Northbeam says Professional and Enterprise run on annual terms, billed annually or semi-annually. Find your renewal date and notice period before choosing a start date elsewhere.

Questions about replacing Northbeam
6 answers
What does Northbeam cost?
The pricing page shows $1,500 for Starter and $3,500 a month for Professional, with Growth and Enterprise on request. Every card also says to contact Northbeam for a quote, and the page states that monthly price depends on pageviews.
Does Northbeam have a free trial?
The pricing page we read does not mention a trial. Rockerbox lists a free plan under a spend cap, Attribution App a 14-day trial and Funnel a 30-day trial.
Which alternatives publish a price?
Ruler Analytics, Attribution App, Wicked Reports and Funnel publish tiers or bands. Usermaven, Cometly, HockeyStack, Hyros, Lifesight and SegmentStream quote after a call.
Is there an alternative for B2B lead-based sales?
Ruler Analytics tracks calls and forms into CRMs such as Salesforce and HubSpot, and HockeyStack is pitched at B2B revenue teams. Northbeam's pages do not describe a lead-gen CRM setup.
Is there a European option?
Funnel is from Stockholm. Ruler Analytics and SegmentStream are British, and SegmentStream lists EU data residency. The other tools in this set are American or do not state a country.
Do these tools offer media mix modelling?
Northbeam sells MMM+ as an Enterprise add-on. Lifesight includes MMM from its Precision tier, Rockerbox combines it with attribution, and Funnel offers it inside the Measure add-on.
