Teams look at NinjaOne alternatives when they cannot budget from the pricing page, when they pay for modules they never switch on, or when they want a smaller vendor, a self-hosted server or a bundled ticketing and billing system. The common destinations are flat per-device tools, per-technician platforms with a PSA included, and self-hosted RMMs.
Short answer: The first three alternatives to NinjaOne in our RMM software ranking are Level, Tactical RMM and Nizlo. Ranking order favours the challenger over the household name, so the best-known vendors begin at place 4 where the category allows it. Choose Level if you want one published per-device rate and no contract. All 11 alternatives below are ranked products from Best RMM Software in 2026, and each says where it differs from NinjaOne.
Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.
Pricing: Per device per month in tiers; full rates on request; 14-day trial

Built for: IT departments and MSPs wanting one vendor for RMM, backup and device management
Not for: Buyers who need a published price list to compare

Why buyers look past NinjaOne
01
You get a range, then a quote
NinjaOne's pricing page gives a spread of $1.50 per device a month at 10,000 endpoints up to $3.75 at 50 or fewer, and says full rates are withheld to protect partner pricing and margins. Your real figure arrives only after a sales conversation, which makes side-by-side comparison slow for a small shop.
02
Each module is its own line
The page lists eleven products, from Remote and Backup to MDM, Documentation and Browser Management, all priced per device and by region. The more of them you adopt, the more items sit on one invoice. A team that needs only monitoring and patching can end up comparing a suite against single-purpose tools.
03
Cancelling depends on the deal you took
Billing is monthly or annual, and month-to-month is offered case by case. Partners who did not take a promotional commitment can cancel on 60 days' notice, while those who did are bound by those terms. Anyone planning an exit should read what their own order form says before comparing prices.

What each one does differently

Level
United States · Published
Level charges a flat $2 per device a month with every feature included, and the first 10 devices are free. Billing runs month to month with no annual commitment, on your peak device count in the month. Above 2,000 devices you ask for volume pricing. Our category record notes no ticketing or billing, so a PSA is separate.
Switch from NinjaOne if you want one published per-device rate and no contract.
Tactical RMM sells by endpoint tier rather than per device. Self-hosted Starter covers up to 199 endpoints at $55 a month or $600 a year, and the hosted option starts at $65 a month for up to 100. The source is published but the licence is not open source, and with self-hosting the upgrades are yours.
Switch from NinjaOne if you have someone to run a server and want a tiered flat fee.
Nizlo charges for technicians: Core is $59 a month with one technician and unlimited endpoints, Scale is $79, and each extra technician adds $15. The 14-day trial asks for no card. Its patching page calls the workflow Windows-first, so a fleet depending on a wide third-party catalogue should check before moving. The company is young.
Switch from NinjaOne if a small team with many devices wants a low fixed monthly bill.
Syncro puts RMM and PSA in one plan and prices each technician, not each device: Core is $129 a month on annual billing and Team $179, with unlimited endpoints. A 14-day trial needs no card. Its AI features run free only through January 2027, after which they use credits, and its own FAQ is inconsistent about Microsoft 365 coverage.
Switch from NinjaOne if you want ticketing and invoicing in the same tool as monitoring.
Gorelo sells a per-user licence that spans service delivery, remote management, documentation and billing, with cheaper seats for staff who are not technicians. A 30-day trial is offered. The product launched in May 2025, it runs on Microsoft Azure, and no page we read states the company's home country, so due diligence is on you.
Switch from NinjaOne if you want four modules under one per-user licence and can accept a new vendor.
SuperOps bills per endpoint and does not count technicians, pairing RMM with a PSA. Prices are quoted, not posted, and every plan carries a 150-endpoint minimum, so it is closed to the smallest fleets. Mobile device management for iPhones, iPads and Android appears in the Prime Plus plan only.
Switch from NinjaOne if your fleet exceeds 150 endpoints and your technician count keeps rising.
Naverisk is based in New Zealand and offers RMM, service desk and PSA hosted by the vendor or installed on your own servers. It publishes a monthly price by band of managed devices, described as all-inclusive, though only a starting figure shows. A self-installed copy means your staff handle upgrades.
Switch from NinjaOne if you need the option to keep the management server in your own premises.
ITarian invoices after the month ends, per active endpoint and per product, with no long-term contract. Device management carries a low rate while security and detection cost far more, so the total depends on which products you stack. The site says Xcitium powers the platform, and an EU platform runs beside the US one.
Switch from NinjaOne if you want postpaid billing on active devices and an EU platform.
Endpoint Central comes from Zoho Corp in India and lists four editions: Professional from $1.32 per endpoint a month, Enterprise $1.57, UEM $1.82 and Security $2.82. A free edition covers 25 endpoints, paid plans start at 50, and you may run it in the cloud or on-premises.
Switch from NinjaOne if you manage corporate desktops in-house and want a posted price list.
ConnectWise Automate offers granular policies, roles and scripted fixes, with data views to search endpoints for software and configuration. Pricing is by request, and the product page itself points buyers wanting more out-of-the-box capability to a second ConnectWise product. Expect configuration work. Patch management is described for Windows operating systems.
Switch from NinjaOne if you have scripting skill and want fine control over every policy.
Datto RMM is a cloud platform that Datto states Kaseya acquired in 2022, and Kaseya now sells it beside its own VSA. The product page shows a Request Pricing button and no rates. Choosing it means a sales call, and it joins a vendor with two RMM lines under one owner.
Switch from NinjaOne if you already run Kaseya tools or accept a quote-led purchase.
You want one posted price per device and no contract
Level: It charges $2 per device a month with every feature included, the first 10 devices are free, and billing is month to month.
02
You want ticketing and invoicing in the same tool
Syncro: Core at $129 per technician a month on annual billing includes RMM, PSA and invoicing, with unlimited endpoints.
03
You want to host the management server yourself
Tactical RMM: Self-hosted Starter covers up to 199 endpoints at $55 a month, but the upgrades and certificates are yours to run.
04
You have few technicians and a very large fleet
Nizlo: Core is $59 a month with one technician and unlimited endpoints, and each extra technician adds $15.
05
You manage in-house desktops and want a price list
ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Editions run from $1.32 to $2.82 per endpoint a month, with a free edition for up to 25 endpoints.
04
When NinjaOne is still the right choice
NinjaOne remains a sound choice when you want one console for monitoring, patching, remote access, backup and MDM. Its RMM page lists patching for Windows, macOS and Linux, updates for more than 200 third-party applications, and a mobile technician app. It lists FedRAMP, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA with a BAA, and support is free and unlimited. If the quote suits you, the breadth is the point.
05
What moving off NinjaOne involves
01
Rebuild policies and scripts first
Monitoring conditions, automation scripts and patch schedules live inside NinjaOne, so none of them travel with an export. Write down alert thresholds and auto-remediation scripts, then recreate and test them on a pilot group of devices before the old agent is removed.
02
Run two agents for a while
Devices need the new agent installed before the old one is retired, and remote access and backup, if you used them, need a replacement in place at the same time. Check your contract dates and the 60-day notice period so that both bills do not overlap for longer than planned.

Questions about replacing NinjaOne
6 answers
What does NinjaOne cost per device?
The pricing page states a spread: from $1.50 per device a month at 10,000 endpoints to $3.75 at 50 or fewer. Prices vary by region and by the products bought, and the figures cover the commercial instance, not FedRAMP. A quote gives the actual rate.
Does NinjaOne have a free trial?
Yes, a 14-day free trial is listed. The page also states no hard licence cap, free implementation, and free unlimited support. Plan changes go through an account manager.
Which alternatives publish a price?
Level lists $2 per device with 10 free, Syncro $129 and $179 per technician on annual billing, Tactical RMM $55 to $280 a month by tier, Nizlo $59 and $79 a month, and Endpoint Central from $1.32 per endpoint.
SuperOps, ConnectWise Automate and Datto RMM quote on request.
Can I run an RMM on my own server?
Tactical RMM offers a self-hosted option with published source, and Naverisk and ManageEngine Endpoint Central can be installed on-premises. You then carry updates, backups and certificates yourself.
Is a per-technician price cheaper than per-device?
It depends on the ratio. Syncro and Nizlo charge for technicians with unlimited endpoints, which favours a small team with a big fleet. With many technicians and few devices, a per-device tool such as Level usually costs less.
Does a PSA come with these tools?
Syncro includes ticketing and invoicing in every plan, SuperOps and Naverisk pair RMM with a PSA, and Gorelo bundles billing and documentation. Level sells the RMM alone, and NinjaOne links to outside PSA tools such as ConnectWise and Autotask.
