Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales alternatives: 11 CRM tools compared
People look beyond Dynamics 365 Sales when the licence ladder, the Dataverse and Power Platform plumbing underneath it, or the Copilot credits on top start to outweigh what a sales team actually does each day. The alternatives below include small European CRMs, pipeline-first tools, open-source options and the usual large suites.
Short answer: Ranking order favours the challenger over the household name, so the best-known vendors begin at place 4 where the category allows it. For Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales users, the top three picks from our CRM ranking are Teamleader, SuperOffice and Odoo CRM. Pick Teamleader if a small service firm wants the deal, the quote and the invoice in one place, with Peppol. Below are 11 alternatives, each taken from the Best CRM Software in 2026 ranking, with its main difference from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales.
Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.
Pricing: Per seat per month, published; add-ons and storage extra
Established in: United States
Built for: An enterprise standardised on Microsoft 365 and Azure
Not for: A small company that wants to be selling by next week
01
Why buyers look past Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales
01
Three seat prices, and the AI sits on the dearer ones
Microsoft's pricing page lists Sales Professional at $65, Sales Enterprise at $105 and Sales Premium at $150 per user per month, paid yearly. Copilot and the prebuilt agents begin at Enterprise, and Premium adds 1,000 Copilot Credits per user per month. A team that wanted a pipeline and a quote can find itself comparing tiers before it has compared products.
02
Credits and capacity are bought separately
Agent usage beyond the included credits runs through Copilot Studio, either prepaid in commit units or pay-as-you-go, and both need an Azure subscription; the page gives no per-credit rate. Storage is also capacity based: Microsoft's admin documentation says database, file and log deficits are each fixed by buying that kind of capacity. The seat price is therefore only the first line of the invoice.
03
It is a Power Platform application underneath
Microsoft's overview says Dynamics 365 Sales runs on Microsoft Dataverse and is built as a Power Apps model-driven app. That is a strength for firms that already build on Power Platform, and a real learning curve for those that do not. The Professional tier is described as a subset of the Enterprise entities, and the pricing page notes that automation there is limited and Power Automate needs extra licences.

Teamleader
Belgium · Published
Teamleader, a Belgian company, puts CRM, quotations and invoicing in one account. Its pricing page names SMART, GROW and FLOW, a 14-day trial without a card, a 17 percent annual discount and Peppol invoicing in every plan. Multiple sales pipelines only arrive on FLOW. Per-user prices were not shown in the text we could read, apart from a headline starting at €37.5.
Switch from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales if a small service firm wants the deal, the quote and the invoice in one place, with Peppol.
SuperOffice, headquartered in Oslo, publishes five plans in euros per user per month on annual billing: Starter at 45 for up to five users, then Core 65, Growth 95, Plus 130 and Super 160. Every plan includes sales, marketing and service tools, data sits in European data centres, and a demo replaces a free trial. Extras such as field service are paid add-ons.
Switch from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales if you want sales, marketing and service in one European product with the price list on the page.
Odoo's page calls the CRM free forever with unlimited users, on Odoo Online, provided it is the only app installed. Adding a second app moves the account to Standard, listed around €19.90 to €31.10 per user per month depending on the discount and billing in force. Custom allows on-premise hosting of Enterprise. Opportunities sit on a kanban with quotations built from a product catalogue.
Switch from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales if CRM, quotes and later invoicing or stock should live in one modular system you could host yourself.
Attio, from the United Kingdom, lets you define the objects yourself. Free covers three seats, three objects and 50,000 records; Plus costs €31 per seat per month billed annually and caps at ten seats; Pro costs €74 and removes the seat cap. Call Intelligence and sequences start on Pro. Someone has to design the data model before the team sells.
Switch from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales if your sales process does not fit a standard lead-opportunity-account model and you can design the data yourself.
Capsule has a free plan for two users with 250 contacts, one sales pipeline and five custom fields. Paid plans start at Starter with a 14-day trial and 30,000 contacts; Growth adds workflow automations, multiple pipelines and advanced reporting. The pricing text we read showed no per-user figures. It is a contact-and-pipeline tool, deliberately short of a platform.
Switch from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales if a handful of people need contacts, a pipeline and tasks, and Dynamics feels like a platform project.
Pipedrive describes itself as a sales pipeline CRM for small businesses, with a free 14-day trial and no card needed, according to its home page. Its pricing page was blocked to us, so plan names and prices are not quoted here. Marketing and service are lighter than in Dynamics, which is the trade it makes to keep the pipeline quick to update.
Switch from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales if salespeople abandoned the current system because updating it was slow and you want the deal board to come first.
Close folds calling, email and SMS into the CRM. Plans run Solo $9, Essentials $35, Growth $99 and Scale $139 per user per month on what looks like annual billing, with a 14-day trial. Workflows and the power dialler start at Growth, the predictive dialler at Scale. Calls cost about $0.02 a minute on top, and numbers start near $1 a month.
Switch from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales if an inside sales team lives on the phone and wants every call logged without a connector.
Efficy, a Belgian company, sells CRM for sales, marketing and service that we know as EU-hosted, configurable and quoted per organisation, with no list price. Its website blocked our automated checks, so features and plans are not confirmed here. Expect a sales conversation and a configuration project, much as with Dynamics, at a European vendor.
Switch from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales if you want a configurable CRM from a European vendor and accept a quote-based purchase.
Freshsales lists Growth at $9, Pro at $39 and Enterprise at $59 per user per month billed annually, with a 21-day trial. Territory management and sales sequences begin on Pro; forecasting insights, field-level permissions, sandbox and audit logs begin on Enterprise. A branded-documents add-on costs $19 per user, and Freddy AI Agent $49 per 100 sessions.
Switch from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales if you want sandbox and audit logs of an enterprise CRM at about half of Dynamics Enterprise's price.
Zoho CRM has a free edition for three users with 5,000 API calls a day and a limit of ten data exports. Standard, Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate editions carry the usual feature gating, and the page shows a trial button without a stated length. The per-user prices did not load in the text we read, so check them before comparing totals.
Switch from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales if you want a broad, configurable CRM, perhaps with the wider Zoho suite, and have someone to set it up.
HubSpot's free CRM allows two users and 1,000 contacts. Starter Customer Platform shows $7 per seat per month on annual billing for new customers, $10 month to month and $20 at list. The page we read did not include Professional or Enterprise Sales Hub prices, where the real comparison with Dynamics sits. Marketing and sales share one database.
Switch from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales if sales and marketing should share one database and you want to start free before committing.
You run a small service firm and invoice from the deal
Teamleader: CRM, quotations and Peppol invoicing are in every plan, and the page offers a 14-day trial without a card.
02
You want an open-source route you could host yourself
Odoo CRM: The first app is free with unlimited users on Odoo Online, and the Custom plan lets you host Enterprise on your own server.
03
Your reps sell by phone all day
Close: Calling, SMS and email sit in the CRM; Growth is $99 per user per month and calls cost about $0.02 a minute extra.
04
You need a data model that Dynamics' standard objects do not give you
Attio: You define the objects yourself; Pro at €74 per seat per month allows up to 12 objects and removes the seat cap.
05
You want sales, marketing and service from a European vendor
SuperOffice: All three are in every plan, from €45 per user per month for up to five users, with data in European data centres.
04
When Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales is still the right choice
Dynamics 365 Sales stays the sensible choice when the company already runs on Microsoft 365, Teams and Power Platform. Microsoft's overview describes Outlook and Teams integration, Power BI dashboards, LinkedIn Sales Navigator through Relationship Sales, forecasting, sequences and a sales accelerator, and the platform can be extended with Power Apps and Power Automate. For a large sales organisation with admins who already work in Dataverse, a smaller CRM would mean rebuilding that integration by hand.
05
What moving off Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales involves
01
Inventory what runs on Dataverse
List custom tables, Power Automate flows, Power BI reports and Outlook or Teams features your team uses. Each needs a home in the new tool, and some will not have one.
02
Export before the licences lapse
Ask your admin to export accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities and activity history, and decide how much closed history you keep. Check storage capacity you bought, because it will end with the subscription.
03
Run a pipeline in parallel for a month
Import open deals into the new tool, let one team work there for a few weeks, then move the rest. Reassess the Copilot and agent features you actually used before paying for equivalents.

Questions about replacing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales
7 answers
What is the best alternative to Dynamics 365 Sales for a small business?
Teamleader ranks first in our list for small service firms, with CRM, quotes and Peppol invoicing in every plan and a 14-day trial. SuperOffice, Odoo CRM and Attio follow. Which fits depends on whether you need invoicing, a free start or a custom data model.
Which Dynamics 365 Sales alternative is cheapest?
Several have a free start: Odoo CRM with one app, Capsule for two users, Attio for three seats, Zoho CRM for three users and HubSpot for two.
Among paid plans, Close lists Solo at $9 and Freshsales Growth at $9 per user per month, against $65 for Sales Professional.
Is there a European alternative to Dynamics 365 Sales?
Yes. Teamleader and Efficy are Belgian, Odoo is Belgian too, SuperOffice is in Oslo and stores data in European data centres, and Pipedrive's home page does not state a hosting region. Check the data-processing terms of each before moving.
Which alternative has an open-source or self-hosted option?
Odoo's pricing page lets the Custom plan download Enterprise and host it yourself or use Odoo.sh. It is the only option here where the CRM is one app in a business suite you can run on your own server.
What do we lose without Microsoft 365 integration?
Outlook and Teams panels, Power BI dashboards on Dataverse and Power Automate flows. Most alternatives sync email and calendars and have their own automation, but you rebuild each connection, so list them first.
Is Dynamics 365 Sales too heavy for a team of ten?
Not necessarily, if you already use Microsoft 365. Sales Professional at $65 per user per month is the lighter tier, but Microsoft notes limited customisation and extra licences for Power Automate. Attio's Plus plan at €31 caps at ten seats and may be simpler.
Which alternative suits a phone-heavy sales team?
Close, which builds calling, SMS and email into the CRM and lists a power dialler on Growth at $99. Freshsales also includes phone in its Growth plan list at $9. Usage charges apply for calls on Close.
