Teamwork.com vs Wrike

Both target agencies that need to see billable work against a plan, and both publish entry prices with higher tiers by quote. Teamwork.com is cheaper to start and has a bigger free plan, while Wrike publishes a lower seat minimum on its first paid tier and goes further into resource planning.

Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.

Where they differ

Teamwork.com 1 · Wrike 1 · open 2
  1. 01

    Entry cost

Teamwork.com charges $9.99 per user per month on Basics, billed annually with a 3-user minimum. Wrike's Team plan runs $10 per seat monthly on annual billing, for 2 to 15 users. The difference is one cent per seat, so the real gap is the minimum team size rather than the price.

    Depends on the buyer

  2. 02

    Free plan

Teamwork.com's free tier allows 5 users, 5 projects and 100 MB of storage. Wrike lists a Free plan at $0, but the pricing page we read gives no user or project limits for it in our data. Teamwork.com is the only one here with stated limits.

  3. 03

    Mid-tier price and seats

Teamwork.com's Accelerate is $24.99 per user per month with a 5-user minimum and 600 projects. Wrike's Business is $25 for 5 to 200 users. Both climb steeply from the entry plan. Teamwork.com notes budgets, retainers and invoicing start on Accelerate, so billing features sit at this tier.

  4. 04

    Top tiers and AI

Both put their highest plans on request: Optimize and Enterprise at Teamwork.com, Pinnacle and Apex at Wrike. Wrike's site also describes Copilot, agents and an MCP Server, plus Whiteboard at $15 per user per month as an add-on. Teamwork.com's page lists a Desk helpdesk product and a Dotty AI add-on instead.

When neither fits

If neither billing nor resource planning is the main need, a lighter tool will cost less. Asana and Basecamp are worth a look for plain team task work.
