Onfleet vs Routific

Onfleet is a last-mile dispatch platform sold in monthly tiers of completed deliveries, starting at USD 619. Routific charges per scheduled order, has a free plan up to 100 orders and counts drivers as free. A small or seasonal operation will find Routific far cheaper to begin with, while Onfleet is priced as the core system of a delivery business.

Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.

Where they differ

  1. 01

    Cost of the first month

Onfleet's Launch tier starts at USD 619 a month for up to 2,500 completed deliveries, and Scale at USD 1,349 for 5,000. Routific is free up to 100 orders and USD 150 a month for up to 1,000 orders. For anything below a couple of thousand stops, Routific costs a fraction.

    Edge: Routific

  2. 02

    Drivers, users and the meter

Both include unlimited users or drivers at no extra charge. Onfleet counts a task only when it is completed. Routific counts an order once when it is scheduled to a route, so re-optimising or moving it adds nothing. Both meters are fair; they differ on when the count happens.

    Depends on the buyer

  3. 03

    Dispatch tools beyond routing

Onfleet puts a driver app, proof of delivery, a branded tracking page and API access on every plan, with barcode scanning, auto-dispatch and advanced optimisation from Scale. It also lists a network of 150+ courier partners. Routific offers drag-and-drop editing, GPS tracking and customer notifications. Onfleet goes deeper on dispatch.

    Edge: Onfleet

  4. 04

    Extras billed on top

Onfleet bills SMS at USD 0.013 a segment and voice at USD 0.016 a minute in the US, and does not publish its rate for deliveries beyond the plan. Routific excludes SMS from the free plan and prices it by country as an add-on. Above 1,000 orders its tiers run from 15 cents down to 3 cents.

    Depends on the buyer

  5. 05

    Who stands behind it

Onfleet, Inc. gives a San Francisco address in its terms and states SOC 2 Type II certification with US-based data storage. Routific Solutions Inc. is named in the privacy policy, but the pages we read do not state its country. Onfleet is clearer about where it sits.

When neither fits

If you need European-based software or a purely per-stop tool for a field sales team, look elsewhere. OptimoRoute and Track-POD are in the same category.
