Loox vs Junip
These two review apps disagree about what a store should be charged for. Loox ties its entry plan to a ceiling of 500 total orders and treats photo and video reviews as its centre of gravity, billed month to month through Shopify with no annual commitment. Junip drops the order meter on every plan, including a free one at $0, and lets only the number of staff logins and extra storefronts move the bill. A big catalogue with a tiny team suits Junip; a visual-first shop that wants clips under each product suits Loox. Neither vendor states a company country on the pages we checked, and Loox says only that it is bootstrapped since 2016.
Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.
you sell something that looks better in a customer's own photos or short clips, and you are content to pay a monthly Shopify-billed subscription with no annual commitment. You can live with the 500-order Beginner plan lacking video reviews, and you expect to step up to Convert for clips, Google Shopping, referrals and removal of Loox branding. You also want a ready-made importer that pulls reviews across from Judge.me in one click.
you ship a large number of orders with only a couple of people logging in, and you want a free tier with unlimited review requests before any card is entered. You are happy to climb from 2 user accounts to 3, 7 or 25 only when your team grows, not when your sales do. You also accept that a second storefront adds a separate monthly charge and that the AI feature is priced on top.

Where they differ

A 500-order ceiling against no order ceiling at all
Loox's Beginner plan stops at up to 500 total orders, so a shop that grows past that point is pushed toward Convert, which lists unlimited total orders. Junip's pricing page describes a consistent monthly fee with no usage limits, and the free tier, Core, Growth and Premium all list unlimited orders and review requests. Picture a store whose sales volume is rising faster than its headcount: on Junip nothing in the plan table reacts to that growth, while on Loox the first step still carries a volume ceiling and a forced upgrade. That is why this round goes to Junip.

Who gets to log in: user accounts as the price lever
Junip separates its tiers by seats: the free plan includes 2 user accounts and 1 storefront, Core allows 3, Growth 7 and Premium 25. That punishes an agency that wants a separate login per client, though it barely touches a founder working alone. Loox's pricing page lists no seat counts at all, so the question of how many colleagues can sign in never comes up there. If your team is large and you dislike counting logins, Loox's absence of a stated seat limit counts in its favour; beyond that, the text we saw says nothing more.

Customer clips and the rest of the Convert bundle
Video reviews are not on Loox's entry tier. Convert adds them together with smart visual sorting, Google Shopping, referrals, AI review stories, AI review replies and removal of Loox branding, and the Unlimited plan layers priority support and unlimited referrals on top. Junip's Core plan lists media galleries on the product page, and Growth adds media incentives and reviews usable on every channel. Both handle pictures, but Loox is the one whose tier ladder is organised around photo and video, which is its whole pitch, so a visual-first shop gets the clearer path there.

Reading the Loox price list with an asterisk
Loox shows Beginner from about $14.99, Convert from about $49.99 and Unlimited from about $299.99 per month in USD, billed through Shopify's 30-day subscription with no annual commitment. The decimals came from split page text that reads '14 .99', so confirm them on the live page before budgeting; we treat the amounts as indicative only. Junip prints clean figures: $0 free, Core $29, Growth $79 and Premium $299 per month. Because every Junip number is plainly legible and Loox's are not fully confirmed, Junip is easier to budget against today.

Trial windows and what the free door looks like
Junip's Core, Growth and Premium plans each show a Start free trial button with a 7-day free trial banner, and its free plan needs no trial at all because it costs $0. Loox shows a Start Free Trial button on Convert and Unlimited, yet the length of that trial is not given anywhere on the page, and the Start Free option is described only as free to get started. Seven days is a short window to judge review volume, but a known period is easier to plan around than a blank one, so Junip takes this round.

Extras that sit outside the plan table
On Junip, additional stores cost $99 per month each once the included ones are used, and Junip AI is marked as an additional-cost feature, so the listed tier is not always the whole bill. Loox lists AI review stories and AI review replies inside Convert, and we found no per-store charge on that page. Loox also offers a one-click Judge.me import and a spreadsheet import under its Review Importer row, although export terms are not shown on that page. For a group running several storefronts, Loox's published table is simpler to total up.

When neither fits
If you want a plan table that carries no order cap, seat cap or add-on lines at all, look at Judge.me or Okendo, which sit in the same product review category. Both are worth reading next to Loox and Junip before you commit to either one. Compare their tables line by line against your own order count, team size and number of storefronts.
Loox or Junip: questions
3 answersDoes a shop with 2,000 orders a month outgrow Loox's cheapest plan?
Loox's Beginner plan lists up to 500 total orders, so a store at that volume would need Convert, which lists unlimited total orders. Convert starts from about $49.99 per month, but the decimals are unconfirmed on the live page and should be checked before budgeting.
Convert is also where video reviews, Google Shopping and referrals begin. Junip, by contrast, lists unlimited orders even on its free plan.
Can a small team stay on Junip's free plan indefinitely?
The free plan lists 2 user accounts, 1 storefront, unlimited orders and unlimited review requests at $0 per month. Staying free is therefore a matter of keeping to two logins and one store.
On-site displays and media galleries on product pages start at Core, $29 per month, with a 7-day free trial. The pages we read give no end date for the free plan.
Where are Loox and Junip each based?
Neither vendor names a headquarters country anywhere we looked. Loox says it has been bootstrapped since 2016 and names no owner or acquirer, and its terms page returned a 404.
Junip's legal terms are linked but show no country, and its about page returned a 404. Treat location as unknown until either company states it in writing.
