Brevo vs Kit
Kit gives away the most subscribers for free, up to 10,000, and is aimed at creators who sell what they write. Brevo is a general sender priced on volume, with transactional mail included. The choice follows whether your list is an audience or a customer base.
Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.
you send campaigns and system mail to a customer list, want pricing tied to sends, and prefer a French-registered vendor.
you are a writer, coach or course seller, want a free plan up to 10,000 subscribers, and plan to charge for newsletters or digital products.

Where they differ
Brevo 1 · Kit 2 · open 1- 01
Free tier size
Kit's Free plan covers up to 10,000 subscribers with landing pages, forms, broadcasts, tagging and segmentation. Brevo's free plan is measured in sends, 300 emails a day or 9,000 a month. For a 10,000-person list mailed weekly, Kit stays free and Brevo's daily cap gets in the way.
Edge: Kit
- 02
Selling from the list
Kit's pricing page lists selling digital products and subscriptions, and charging subscribers monthly, quarterly or annually. Brevo's pages we read describe sending, automation and transactional email, not selling content. A paid newsletter is therefore a Kit use case.
Edge: Kit
- 03
Automations and paid tiers
On Kit, visual automations and sequences arrive with the paid Creator plan, priced per 1,000 subscribers after a 14-day trial. On Brevo, automation begins at Standard, with Starter at $9 for 5,000 emails. Both gate automation behind a paid step.
Depends on the buyer
- 04
Transactional mail and hosting
Brevo runs transactional email on the same account, hosts data in France and Germany, and offers SDKs in 7 languages. Kit's pricing page did not list transactional sending or hosting regions. Developers and EU-hosting buyers get more from Brevo.
Edge: Brevo
When neither fits
If you run an online shop and need catalogue-aware segmentation, neither is the fit. Klaviyo and Omnisend are built for that.
