Miro vs FigJam

Miro is a standalone board product billed per member, with a large template library. FigJam is part of Figma's seat system and comes with every seat, with a cheap collab seat for non-designers.

Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.

Where they differ

Miro 1 · FigJam 1 · open 2
  1. 01

    Entry cost

Miro Starter is $8 per member per month billed yearly, and Business is $20. FigJam is included with every Figma seat, and a collab seat is $3 a month on Professional. For people who only brainstorm, FigJam is the cheaper way in.

    Edge: FigJam

  2. 02

    Free tier

Miro's free workspace keeps three editable boards, with no private boards and low-resolution export. Figma's free Starter plan has unlimited drafts, but the page does not state a FigJam file allowance. Miro's limit is clearer, FigJam's is unstated.

    Depends on the buyer

  3. 03

    Templates and integrations

Miro lists more than 7,000 templates and over 250 integrations. FigJam lists over 300 templates and integrations such as Asana, Jira and GitHub. For breadth of ready-made material, Miro is ahead.

  4. 04

    Outsiders on the board

Miro Starter allows visitor editing without sign-in, and unlimited guests need Business. FigJam open sessions admit anyone for 24 hours, and paid plans let others view and comment without an extra seat. Both work; FigJam's access is time-limited.
