Five9 vs Genesys Cloud CX
Both are large US contact center platforms priced per user with a floor under the contract. Five9 publishes its two cheapest tiers and asks for 50 concurrent seats. Genesys publishes tiers from a voice-only entry point and attaches a monthly minimum. Neither is a small-team purchase.
Vendors can pay for visibility on this site; it never changes what we say about a product. How that works.
you want published prices for the first two tiers, expect at least 50 concurrent agents, and want blended inbound and outbound calling with a dialer from the Core tier.
you want a tiered per-user model that scales from voice-only up to an AI-first tier, and a $2,000 monthly commitment is small against your agent headcount.

The floor under the contract
Five9 states a minimum of 50 concurrent seats on every tier. Our data on Genesys lists a $2,000 monthly minimum commitment with annual billing. Both exclude the very small team, but the Genesys minimum is a spend and the Five9 minimum is a headcount, so a high-priced small team hits the Genesys floor first.

How far published pricing goes
Five9 quotes three of its five tiers, including the ones with workforce engagement management and advanced AI. Our data on Genesys describes four tiers with indicative prices up to $240 a user, with predictive engagement still an add-on. Genesys shows more of the final range before a sales call, though add-ons can still move it.

Dialing and blended work
Five9's pricing page lists blended inbound and outbound capability, an agent desktop, recording and dialer features across all tiers, and our ranking highlights predictive and power dialers. For an outbound-heavy operation that is the clearer fit. Genesys wins on stated scale and breadth of tiers rather than on dialer focus.
Edge: Five9
When neither fits
Under 50 agents, both are more platform than the job needs. CloudTalk publishes per-seat prices from EUR 19 a month with a three-seat minimum, Ringover is buyable online without a sales call, and 3CX licenses per simultaneous call with a self-hosted option.
