Appfigures vs AppFollow
These two tools start from different jobs. Appfigures is a numbers dashboard for downloads, revenue, ratings and keyword ranks, with a permanent plan for five connected apps and a list of prices you can read. AppFollow is built around reviews: AI analysis, replies in a brand voice and routing into helpdesks, but its pricing page shows no plans or amounts at all. Appfigures is a New York company, while AppFollow's terms name a Finnish and a Delaware entity. If you want to budget before talking to anyone, only one of them lets you.
Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.
you want sales, ratings and keyword numbers from the App Store and Google Play in one place and need to see a price before you contact anyone. You are happy to start on the free plan with five apps and add keywords by moving up a tier.
you run support and want store reviews pushed into Zendesk, Salesforce, Intercom or Slack with AI-assisted replies. You accept that the cost comes out of a sales call rather than a price list.

Where they differ

Can you see a number before the sales call
Appfigures prints its prices on the page: Connect at USD 9.99 a month, Monitor at USD 44.99, Optimize at USD 149.99, Boost at USD 599.99 and Amplify at USD 1,399.99, each with a lower annual figure. Its Market Intel tier called Explore says only Let's chat. AppFollow's pricing page shows no plan names or amounts, only Contact sales and a demo request form. A buyer comparing budgets can do it at one vendor and not the other.

The free door into each product
Appfigures lists a free plan with 5 connected apps and no credit card, and its free trial unlocks every feature of the Optimize plan. Extra connected apps then cost USD 1.99 each on paid plans. AppFollow's home page has Try for free and Get started for free links, but the site gives no sign whether that opens a trial or a permanent tier, how long it runs or what it caps. That leaves the free route unclear on the AppFollow side.

- 03
Review replies versus keyword counts
AppFollow puts the work of answering users first: AI semantic analysis of feedback, sentiment tracking, replies in several languages in the brand voice, and routing of offensive reviews. Appfigures gives reply-to-reviews as 150 on Connect and unlimited from Monitor upward, but its plans are really stepped by keywords, from 0 on Connect to 100, 500, 1,000 and 2,500. If your question is what to say to users, and how fast, AppFollow is the closer fit of the two.

Where each one sends its data
AppFollow names a long list of outputs: Slack, Zendesk, Helpshift, Salesforce, Intercom, Freshdesk and Discord, plus Tableau, email, webhooks, an API and an MCP connector for AI assistants. Appfigures names the App Store and Google Play and, on the pages we read, lists no third-party connectors, CRM links or BI feeds. AppFollow also reads from the Mac App Store, Microsoft Store, Samsung Galaxy Store, Huawei AppGallery, Trustpilot and Steam. For wiring into existing tools, AppFollow wins.

What the entry paid tier leaves out
Appfigures is candid in its own table that the cheapest paid plan, Connect, tracks 0 keywords, so keyword work starts at Monitor, with 100 keywords for USD 44.99 a month, and the 500-keyword Optimize plan costs USD 149.99. The home page also names keyword discovery and metadata optimisation, but Market Intel caps are not stated. AppFollow lists keyword suggestions, top chart tracking and featuring opportunities, with no limits shown. Neither makes ASO depth easy to judge before you sign up, so ask for a trial account.
Depends on the buyer
- 06
Legal entity and jurisdiction
Appfigures, Inc. lists a Manhattan street address, and its terms choose New York law with courts in Manhattan, so we place it in the United States. AppFollow's terms name AppFollow.fi Oy, a Finnish limited liability company under Finnish law with arbitration in Helsinki, and AppFollow, Inc., a Delaware corporation. Neither site names a parent company or owner. AppFollow's home page states no headquarters or registered address, so the Finnish link rests on the terms alone.
Depends on the buyer
When neither fits
If keyword research and metadata testing are the main job, neither is the sharpest tool. AppTweak and MobileAction are the two we would compare first in our app store optimization ranking.

3 answersDoes Appfigures track keywords on its cheapest paid plan?
No, the Connect plan at USD 9.99 a month lists 0 keywords. Keyword tracking starts with Monitor at 100 keywords for USD 44.99 a month. The free plan is for five connected apps and is a separate thing.
Can I try AppFollow without talking to sales?

Why do the Appfigures prices look unclear in places?
One pricing page shows two sets of figures with no label, while a second page labels the lower figure as the annual price, about 20% less.
Currency appears as a dollar sign, and the second page says USD. The trial length is not given on either page.
