Close vs Attio

Close puts calling, email and SMS inside a sales CRM and bills phone usage on top of the seat. Attio is a CRM you shape from objects and records, with a free tier for three seats and prices in euros. Pick by whether your day is spent on the phone or on modelling an unusual pipeline.

Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.

Where they differ

Close 1 · Attio 2 · open 1
  1. 01

    Entry cost and free options

Attio's free tier covers up to 3 seats, plus a 14-day Pro trial. Close offers a two-week trial instead, card not needed, with $5 of calling credit. Its Solo plan shows $9 for one user, which is the nearest to free.

    Edge: Attio

  2. 02

    Paid tiers in numbers

Close shows Essentials $35, Growth $99 and Scale $139 per user per month, without saying which billing cycle applies. Attio shows Plus at 39 euros monthly or 31 annual, and Pro at 93 monthly or 74 annual. Close is cheaper at the top, but its usage charges sit outside those figures.

    Depends on the buyer

  3. 03

    Phone and messaging

Close bills calls and SMS at cost, about $0.02 a minute on most outbound calls, with numbers from about $1 a month. Growth adds a power dialer and Scale a predictive dialer with live coaching. Attio's pages name Call Intelligence for recording meetings, not outbound dialling.

    Edge: Close

  4. 04

    Shaping the data

Attio caps custom objects by plan: 3 on Free, 5 on Plus, 12 on Pro, unlimited on Enterprise. Records run from 50,000 to 1,000,000. Close's pages describe a fixed sales structure with leads and a Solo cap of 10,000 leads. A team that needs partners or investors tracked alongside deals fits Attio.

    Edge: Attio

When neither fits

If you want a mature pipeline view with forecasting or a wider marketing suite, Pipedrive and HubSpot cover more ground than either.
