FlutterFlow alternatives: 11 mobile app builders compared

People look for a FlutterFlow alternative when the per-seat price grows with the team, when they do not want to depend on Flutter developers for a downloaded project, or when a simpler route to the app stores is enough. They move to other visual builders, to website-to-app tools or to a full no-code platform, depending on what the app has to do.

Short answer: GoodBarber, Draftbit and Adalo head the list of FlutterFlow alternatives drawn from our mobile app builder ranking. Challengers take places 1 to 3 here. Big brands follow in the order of our category ranking. GoodBarber is the one to try if you want a French vendor and one yearly invoice that covers the running services. Each of the 11 alternatives sits in Best Mobile App Builders in 2026 and is described against FlutterFlow.

Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.

FlutterFlow

#4 of 12 in our mobile app builder ranking

  • Pricing: Free plan; Basic, Growth and Business tiers published, per seat from Growth
  • Established in: Not stated by the vendor
  • Built for: Teams with a Flutter developer who want to design visually and keep the code
  • Not for: Non-technical founders who want store publishing handled for them
01

Why buyers look past FlutterFlow

  1. 01

The bill follows the number of editors

FlutterFlow lists Basic at 39 dollars a month, or 29 dollars billed yearly, for one editor. Pro allows up to two editors and Max up to five, with extra seats at 55 and 85 dollars a month on monthly billing. A team that adds designers and developers therefore pays more with each person.

  2. 02

Collaboration and GitHub sit higher up

Real-time collaboration, project access control, branches and the push to GitHub start on Pro. Basic is limited to one editor and the main branch, and Free allows two projects with no code or APK download. A solo builder who later hires help has to change plan to work together.

  3. 03

    Exported code needs developers

The documentation says FlutterFlow pushes to a branch named flutterflow and overwrites direct edits made there. Custom changes belong on a separate branch, merged by pull request with possible conflicts. The exit exists, but running that code afterwards is work for people who know Flutter.

What each one does differently

GoodBarber

France · Published

GoodBarber is run from Ajaccio in Corsica, and its subscription states that hosting, push notifications, payments and updates are covered. It produces native iOS and Android apps and progressive web apps. Billing is yearly only, with plans split between content and shop use, so a team wanting monthly flexibility meets a commitment first.

Switch from FlutterFlow if you want a French vendor and one yearly invoice that covers the running services.

Draftbit

Not stated by the vendor · Published

Draftbit combines a visual editor with AI agents that work on your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription or API key. Paid tiers permit full code editing and export to GitHub. The free plan holds one open project and publishes to a draftbit.dev web address, so phone builds and simulators begin on Standard.

Switch from FlutterFlow if you want AI-assisted building and a code export that you control.

Draftbit, #3 of 12 in our mobile app builder ranking →

Adalo

United States · Published

Adalo draws iOS, Android and web apps from a single design and states that it makes no usage-based charges. Publishing starts on the Builder plan with two published apps and one instant update monthly. Analytics, crash monitoring and localisation are add-ons there, so a monitored app costs more than the entry price.

Switch from FlutterFlow if you want native store apps without a per-seat bill.

Natively

United States · Published

Natively takes a website you already run and wraps it as iOS and Android apps, adding push notifications and in-app purchases. Its free plan allows device testing only. Essential caps rebuilds at four and charges for extras, while Unlimited and a one-time Lifetime option remove that cap.

Switch from FlutterFlow if your product is already a website and you want store apps around it.

AppMySite

United States · Published

AppMySite sells six products, including website-to-app, Shopify and WordPress apps, each with its own pricing page. The web-to-app page lists a free Android app, paid tiers billed monthly, yearly or once, and iPhone apps only from Pro. Branding removal and faster builds start at Starter.

Switch from FlutterFlow if you run WordPress or Shopify and want an app made from that store.

Our mobile app builder guide puts AppMySite at 9 of 12; read why →

Shoutem

United States · Published

Shoutem offers an Android plan, a Standard plan with iOS publishing and a Professional plan, billed monthly or quarterly after a 14-day trial without a card. Its team submits the app once you hold store developer accounts, and developers may write React Native extensions. Storage is capped at 1, 2 and 10 GB.

Switch from FlutterFlow if you want a template builder whose staff handle the store submission.

Thunkable

United States · Published

Thunkable prices by live apps: Builder allows one published app and Advanced allows unlimited ones. Its FAQ says private projects turn read-only and published apps become unavailable if a subscription lapses. Free keeps three public projects, so private work needs a paid plan from day one.

Switch from FlutterFlow if you ship several apps and would rather count apps than editors.

Thunkable holds rank 5 among 12 entries in our mobile app builder guide →

BuildFire

United States · Published

BuildFire sells Standard, Growth and Scale around a plugin marketplace, with push allowances, storage tiers and a reseller programme for agencies. Every plan starts from a demo request and the page shows no trial. Standard has one admin seat and one in-app purchase, so teams and paid apps need higher plans.

Switch from FlutterFlow if you are an agency reselling apps under your own brand.

Appy Pie

India · Published

Appy Pie bills each app separately per month, so a second app is a second subscription. Basic and Gold publish to Android, and iOS comes with Platinum, which also has the largest download and push allowances. White-label ownership is an add-on package. The operator is an Indian LLP based in Noida.

Switch from FlutterFlow if you want a per-app monthly price and a low-effort start on Android.

Bubble

United States · Published

Bubble is a full-stack no-code platform with a native mobile editor, and its free plan cannot deploy a live app. Pricing is metered in workload units monthly. Starter allows five build submissions a month, Growth ten and Team twenty. A web product with a mobile shell fits better than a simple store app.

Switch from FlutterFlow if your app needs a database, logic and a web front end as well as mobile.

Glide

United States · Published

Glide now sells GlideOS, an AI platform for internal business apps made from a spreadsheet, a prompt or a file. Plans are metered in credits and the Free plan allows no published apps. The pricing page does not mention App Store or Google Play listings, and GlideOS is separate from Glide Classic.

Switch from FlutterFlow if you need an internal tool for staff, built from a spreadsheet.

Which alternative for which situation

  1. 01

You have a website and want store apps from it

Natively: It wraps the site as iOS and Android apps with push notifications and in-app purchases; the free plan is for device testing only.

  2. 02

You want a French vendor with hosting in the price

GoodBarber: Hosting, push, payments and updates are stated as part of the yearly subscription.

  3. 03

You want AI help and an export you control

Draftbit: Paid tiers allow full code editing and export to GitHub, and the AI agents use your own Claude or ChatGPT access.

  4. 04

You sell apps to clients under your own name

BuildFire: It lists a reseller programme for agencies, though every plan starts with a demo request.

  5. 05

You need a web product, not just an app

Bubble: It is a full-stack platform with a native mobile editor, metered in workload units, and live deployment needs a paid plan.

04

When FlutterFlow is still the right choice

FlutterFlow remains a sound choice when you want Flutter output for mobile, web and desktop and have, or will hire, developers who can read it. The paid plans include code and APK download, one-click store deployment and web deployment, and Pro adds GitHub and a VS Code extension. Its documentation says you own the output of your work and that end-user data in a mobile app stays outside FlutterFlow's servers.

05

What moving off FlutterFlow involves

  1. 01

An app built visually cannot be carried over

No other builder reads FlutterFlow projects, so a move means rebuilding screens, logic and data connections in the new tool. Export the code first as a reference, list every API call and custom function, and rebuild the core flow before you cancel.

  2. 02

Store listings and user data stay yours

Your apps live in your own App Store and Google Play accounts and your data sits in your own backend, so keep both and change only the builder. Check that push notification keys, sign-in providers and in-app purchase set-up can be reused by the new tool.

Questions about replacing FlutterFlow

6 answers
How much does FlutterFlow cost now?

The pricing page we read lists Free, Basic at 39 dollars monthly, Pro at 80 and Max at 150, with lower prices on yearly billing. Seats beyond the first cost extra on Pro and Max. Enterprise is priced by sales.

Can I download my code from FlutterFlow?

Code download and APK download are listed from Basic upwards and are not included in Free. GitHub push and the VS Code extension start on Pro.

Is there a free FlutterFlow alternative?

Adalo, Draftbit, Thunkable, Natively and AppMySite list free plans, each with its own limits, such as testing only or a single Android app. Bubble's free plan cannot deploy a live app.

Which alternative suits a website I already have?

Natively and AppMySite convert an existing website or store into iOS and Android apps. Natively adds push notifications and in-app purchases, and AppMySite covers WordPress and Shopify through separate products.

Which alternatives are run from Europe?

In our category record GoodBarber, run from Ajaccio in Corsica, is the French option. Draftbit does not state a country. Most others are US companies, and Appy Pie is run by an Indian LLP.

Do the alternatives let me export code?

Draftbit allows full code editing and export to GitHub on paid tiers. For the others we did not confirm an export route on the pages we read, so ask before you commit.
