Precoro vs Procurify

Precoro and Procurify both cover requests, purchase orders and approvals, but they differ in how they show the cost. Precoro prints entry prices of $499 and $999 a month, billed annually, with its AP module priced separately. Procurify shows no amounts and builds a quote around Purchasing plus add-ons, users and integrations. Precoro quotes two to eight weeks to go live and is a United States company with an EEA representative. Procurify says it is based in Canada. Neither offers a free plan or trial, and neither covers sourcing events or auctions.

Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.

Where they differ

  1. 01

    Entry prices against a quote

Precoro publishes Core from $499 a month and Automation from $999 a month, both billed annually, with Enterprise custom and a separate AP module from $499. Procurify's pricing page shows no amounts, only a request-pricing button, and says users, products, add-ons and integrations drive the quote. Neither page lists a free plan or trial. When finance wants a figure on the table, Precoro is simpler to begin with when you must budget quickly, and Procurify says its quote follows adoption.

    Edge: Precoro

  2. 02

How much of a bill lies in add-ons

Procurify starts every customer on Purchasing and sells Accounts Payable and Expense and Card as separate products, with Guided Intake and Contracts labelled add-ons. Precoro keeps invoices and matching in Core, and its AP automation is a separate priced module. Both models split the bill, but Precoro prints the first two tiers and the AP figure, while Procurify prints none. The total spend stays harder to estimate at Procurify. That makes a like-for-like comparison of the two bills difficult without two quotes in hand.

    Edge: Precoro

  3. 03

    Spending cards and reimbursements

Procurify's Expense and Card product covers spending cards and expenses, including virtual and physical cards with spend limits, for the buying that never becomes a purchase order. Precoro lists expense management in Core and connects to QuickBooks Online and Xero, but cards do not appear on its pricing page. A team that wants card spend in the same system as approvals will find Procurify the more complete answer. Precoro does not name cards in the pages we read, so the gap is clear.

    Edge: Procurify

  4. 04

Going live and who does the setup

Precoro's pricing page says two to eight weeks to go live with full support and a launch that needs no IT involvement, and it lists Concierge Setup, Multiple Companies and Dedicated Support as recommended add-ons. Procurify offers interactive tours and a demo, and no rollout window is stated, so ask for one during the demo. A finance lead who must plan a start date can work from Precoro's stated range. Procurify's pages give no rollout window, so ask for one during the demo.

    Edge: Precoro

  5. 05

    Accounting links and PunchOut catalogues

Procurify names QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct and Dynamics 365 Business Central, plus Amazon Business, Staples and ZAGENO, and includes approval routing, spend insights and PunchOut integrations in every plan. Precoro names QuickBooks Online and Xero in Core, with punchouts, API access and SSO in Automation and ERP integrations in Enterprise. Procurify names more ERP systems openly, which suits mid-market finance teams on NetSuite or Sage. Precoro's lower tiers name fewer ERP systems, so check yours against the list before you buy.

    Edge: Procurify

  6. 06

    Company base and data location

Precoro Inc. gives a Wilmington, Delaware address, names an EEA representative, and offers EU-based or US-based servers on Enterprise. Its terms let customers export data at any time during a subscription and give EU customers a switching procedure. Procurify says it is based out of Canada, with a Vancouver notice address, and its own fit notes say data is stored in Canada and the United States. European residency favours Precoro. That matters for any group with an EU data protection officer.

    Edge: Precoro

03

When neither fits

If your main job is running tenders, auctions and contract authoring, neither fits, because both stop at the purchase-to-pay half. Look at ProcureDesk for a different approach to requisitions, or Order.co if you buy mostly through a marketplace.

Precoro or Procurify: questions

3 answers
Does Procurify publish any prices at all?

No, the pricing page we read shows only a request-pricing button. It says the quote depends on products, add-ons, users and integrations. You must book a demo or ask for a quote to learn the cost.

Can Precoro hold my data in the EU?

The pricing page lists regional server selection, US-based or EU-based, as an Enterprise item. Enterprise is priced as custom. The lower tiers do not mention a choice of location.

Is the AP module part of Precoro's entry price?

No, it is listed as its own module starting at $499 a month, billed annually. Core includes invoices and two- and three-way match, and Automation adds intelligent AP automation. Check which of those your finance team needs before you budget.
