Playground vs Recraft

Playground and Recraft both sell credit plans, but they differ on who owns the output. Recraft states that free-plan images belong to Recraft and are shown publicly, while paid-plan images are private and yours. Playground lists a worldwide royalty-free commercial licence on every plan, free included, but its free plan allows only a few generations.

Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.

    Published prices

Playground shows Pro at $15 per month ($12 billed annually, $144 a year) and Pro Plus at $45 ($36 billed annually, $432 a year). The Recraft page we read shows monthly and annual toggles with a 20 percent saving but no plan prices in its text, so we cannot compare figures.

  3. 03

    Credit rollover

Recraft states that subscription credits reset every billing cycle and do not roll over, while top-up credits never expire. Playground's credits are refreshed monthly. Recraft's top-ups are the clearer answer.
