Livestorm vs Demio

Livestorm sells a yearly pack of attendee credits and is run by a company registered in Lyon. Demio sells per-host tiers by room size, has no free plan, and its controller is Banzai International in the United States. The real choice is a credit meter against a fixed monthly host fee.

Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.

  1. 01

    How the bill is built

Livestorm's Pro plan is EUR 2.50 per attendee, bought as a yearly pack of credits with a 12-month period. Demio charges per host and monthly: Starter is $45 when paid yearly, Growth $117, Premium $196, with 30% off for annual. Demio's bill is easier to predict from a single line. Livestorm's depends on how many people you expect over twelve months.

    Edge: Demio

  2. 02

    Trial and entry point

Neither pricing page lists a free plan. Livestorm shows a 'Try it for free' sign-up without stating its length. Demio states a 14-day trial with Growth features, limited to 20 attendees and 1-hour sessions. Demio is clearer about what you get before paying.

    Edge: Demio

  3. 03

    Room size and session length

Livestorm Pro allows up to 4 hours and 3,000 live attendees, with 25 simultaneous speakers; Enterprise stretches to 12 hours. Demio's Starter room holds 50 attendees for 3 hours, while Premium offers up to 3,000 attendees and 10 hours. Livestorm's cheaper plan already reaches the large room.

    Edge: Livestorm

  4. 04

    Integrations and extras

Livestorm names HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot and Zapier, plus restreaming, SAML SSO and live interpretation via Interprefy. Demio names Salesforce, HubSpot, Zapier and Mailchimp, with analytics on handouts, polls and chat. Livestorm lists more enterprise options on its homepage.

    Edge: Livestorm

03

When neither fits

If you need a very low-volume free tier or a heavily branded custom stage, look elsewhere. WebinarGeek and ClickMeeting are two other options in our webinar software list.
