How devices are counted and billed
Auvik publishes a monthly price per billable network device, and only switches, routers and firewalls count, so everything else rides free. Auvik's emphasis is documentation: it discovers the topology, keeps the map current and backs up device configurations without anyone maintaining a spreadsheet, which is why providers inheriting undocumented client networks use it.
