The typical searcher started on lemlist's Email plan, then needed LinkedIn, SMS or a dialer and found that those channels sit on the Multichannel plan, which is priced per user. Others want a different price shape, such as flat monthly plans, send-volume tiers or sender-count tiers. They move to a tool priced by emails sent, by active prospects or by mailbox, or to a data-first platform.
Short answer: The first three alternatives to Lemlist in our cold email software ranking are Woodpecker.co, QuickMail and Smartlead. Places 1 to 3 go to challengers, vendors outside the best-known brands in a category, wherever the category has them; the established names follow from place 4 in their ranked order. Choose Woodpecker.co if you want volume-based tiers from a Polish company under Polish law. All 11 alternatives below are ranked products from Best Cold Email Software in 2026, and each says where it differs from Lemlist.

Why buyers look past Lemlist
01
The second channel changes the pricing model
On lemlist's pricing page the Email plan allows unlimited users and senders with a monthly email volume, listed at $55 a month on yearly billing and $69 monthly. The Multichannel plan is $87 a month yearly or $109 monthly per user, with 5 senders per user, and holds LinkedIn, SMS and the call dialer. A team that adds LinkedIn pays for every seat.
02
Lead data is bought in credits
The Email plan lists a 650M+ lead database and an email and phone finder, but data runs on credits. The Data add-ons start at $16 a month yearly ($20 monthly) for 2,000 credits, of which 400 are emails or 100 are phones, and intent signals are a separate add-on at $21 yearly ($29 monthly) for 100 signals. Credits roll over only while the subscription stays active.
03
Enterprise holds the security controls
SSO and SAML login, custom user roles and permissions, custom terms of use and a dedicated account manager are listed under Enterprise only, on quoted pricing. A company whose IT department requires SSO therefore leaves the self-serve prices, while a small team that never needs these features pays nothing for them.

Woodpecker.co
Poland · Published tiers by emails sent per month; 14-day trial without a card
Closest in shape to lemlist's Email plan: tiers rise with emails sent per month, from 5,000 to 1,000,000, with unlimited team members and email accounts. LinkedIn is a separate plan or a Multichannel tier, and the Lead Finder runs on credits. Prices are drawn in the browser, so check the live page.
Switch from Lemlist if you want volume-based tiers from a Polish company under Polish law.
Switzerland · Three published plans; 14-day trial that never converts by itself
Three flat plans at $49, $99 and $299 a month, each with unlimited email senders, LinkedIn accounts and users. The caps are on uploaded contacts and monthly sends, and the two lower plans hold one workspace. It has no lead database, and the trial requires a card.
Switch from Lemlist if a growing team wants no per-seat or per-mailbox charge.
Australia · Four published plans plus paid add-ons; trial without a card
Four plans from $39 to $379 a month, each with unlimited email accounts and no per-mailbox fee. Contacts, sends and verified-email credits are separate counters. Dedicated servers, bought mailboxes and placement testing are extra, and a managed SmartServices option exists. The terms name 521 Products Pty Ltd and New South Wales law.
Switch from Lemlist if you send from many mailboxes and accept add-on pricing for infrastructure.
United States · Published monthly plans; outreach and lead credits priced separately
Splits the product in two: outreach plans with unlimited email accounts and warm-up, and a credits plan for its 450M+ lead database and AI agents. Starter, Scale and Agency bundles combine the two. The pricing page names no trial.
Switch from Lemlist if you run email only, from many accounts, and want data from the same vendor.
Three tiers at $34, $76 and $149 a month on annual billing, with unlimited mailboxes and prospect storage but a cap on contacts in live sequences. A B2B database (852M+ contacts) and monthly lead credits come included. The trial lasts seven days.
Switch from Lemlist if you want sending and a contact database under one subscription from an Indian vendor.
India · Published tiers by active prospects; 14-day trial without a card
Plans scale by active prospects, from 1,000 to 500,000, and the page states no per-seat pricing. Email Outreach starts at $29 a month and Sales Engagement at $39, with calling seats and manual LinkedIn seats. LinkedIn automation, extra mailboxes and client dashboards are priced as add-ons or by tier.
Switch from Lemlist if several senders share one price and the volume is measured in prospects.
Not stated by the vendor · Published Pro and Growth plans plus an AI-agent tier; 14-day trial
Pro ($40 a month) allows one LinkedIn sender and 5,000 emails; Growth ($80 a month) lifts that to unlimited senders, 10,000 active contacts and 50,000 emails. AI personalisation, validation and social-action credits are metered. It belongs to the Forge product family, and the terms name no country.
Switch from Lemlist if you already use other Forge products or want a low entry price with LinkedIn steps.
United States · Published tiers by sending addresses; add-ons priced separately
Tiers depend on sending addresses per account: one, two or ten. Sends are unlimited from the second tier, and uploaded contacts and warm-up are unlimited throughout. A phone dialer with 5 numbers sits on the top published tier. Data Finder is a separate add-on, and it is run from Austin, Texas.
Switch from Lemlist if you send from one to ten addresses and want a plain per-account price.
United States · Published tiers on annual billing; 14-day trial capped at 200 emails
An email-only Starter at $50 a month (annual billing) with unlimited users and mailboxes, then Growth at $70 and Plus at $99 per user a month, which add data credits, a calling stack and CRM stage automation. Parallel and power dialers cost $45 more per user.
Switch from Lemlist if your reps combine cold calling with email cadences and a CRM plugin.
United States · Free plan; paid tiers per user by recipients, published; 14-day trial
Works from the inbox, in Gmail, and counts recipients added to sequences each month, per user and billed yearly. A free plan covers 50 recipients with limited features; paid plans include every feature, including scheduling and AI meeting notes. It sells no lead database.
Switch from Lemlist if individual sellers do outreach from their own inbox and want booking pages included.
United States · Free plan; Basic and Professional per user, Custom quoted; trial offered
Starts from a contact database rather than a sender: a free plan, then Basic and Professional per user, and Custom quoted. Credits pay for contacts, phones and warm-up and expire each cycle. All seats on an account share one plan level, and free plans connect Gmail only.
Switch from Lemlist if finding the contacts matters as much as sending to them.
Stay on lemlist if your outbound is mostly email with an occasional LinkedIn step and you want one vendor under French law, hosted on OVH servers in France, with a published Email plan that allows unlimited users and senders. The Multichannel plan makes sense when several channels run in the same sequence and the data credits are used. The cost question is to count seats and monthly credits before comparing it with a flat-priced tool.
05
What moving off Lemlist involves
01
Rebuild the sending setup, not just the sequences
Sequences, templates and lists can be exported or recreated, but mailbox reputation does not move with them. Connect the same mailboxes to the new tool, run its warm-up and raise daily volume in steps. Switching on the day of a large campaign is where most deliverability damage happens.
02
Check where each feature you use lands
Write down every lemlist feature in use, such as LinkedIn steps, voice messages, SMS or the dialer, and look for it on the target plan. Several rivals sell LinkedIn automation or lead data as add-ons, so a headline price can leave out features you now rely on. Also confirm the contract terms for your country.

Questions about replacing Lemlist
7 answers
What does lemlist cost?
The pricing page lists the Email plan at $55 a month on yearly billing ($69 monthly) and the Multichannel plan at $87 a month on yearly billing ($109 monthly) per user. Enterprise is custom. Data and intent-signal add-ons are priced separately.
Is lemlist a European company?
lemlist's terms are between the user and lempire SAS, a French company with a registered office in Paris. The terms are subject to French law, with disputes going to the Paris courts, and the legal notice lists server hosting by OVH in Roubaix, France.
Which alternatives are not priced per user?
On their own pricing pages, QuickMail, Woodpecker, Smartlead, Saleshandy, SmartReach and Instantly price by volume, contacts or prospects and allow unlimited senders or mailboxes. Mailshake prices by sending addresses, while Klenty's Starter tier and lemlist's Email plan allow unlimited users.
Which alternatives include a lead database?
Saleshandy lists a B2B database with 852M+ contacts and monthly lead credits, and Apollo.io sells contact data through credits. Instantly sells a 450M+ lead database on a separate credits plan, and Woodpecker and Mailshake sell finder credits or add-ons. Smartlead lists verified-email credits per plan.
Is there a free option?
Apollo.io and Mixmax publish free plans, with Apollo's free plan connecting Gmail only and Mixmax's capped at 50 recipients a month.
The other tools offer trials: Woodpecker and SmartReach for 14 days without a card, Saleshandy for 7 days, QuickMail and Klenty for 14 days with limits.
Will my deliverability suffer when I switch?
Switching the tool does not reset a mailbox's reputation, since most of these tools send through the connected mailbox. Warm-up, volume ramp-up and domain authentication matter more. QuickMail states it sends through the email provider of each connected inbox.
Can I connect LinkedIn outside lemlist's Multichannel plan?
Woodpecker sells LinkedIn as a separate plan or Multichannel tier, Salesforge has LinkedIn senders on both its plans, QuickMail includes unlimited LinkedIn accounts, and SmartReach adds LinkedIn automation as an add-on. Check each vendor's current limits for LinkedIn actions.
