Lime Connect (formerly Userlike) vs Chaport

Lime Connect, the product formerly sold as Userlike, is a Cologne-based chat tool with WhatsApp access and a Pro plan that starts at three seats. Chaport is a lighter widget with a free plan for 2 operators and two euro-priced paid plans. The first is built around a German buyer and a messaging inbox, while the second starts free and keeps chatbots for its top plan. Money is the sharper contrast, since Lime Connect needs three seats on Pro and Chaport does not.

   Lime Connect has a Free plan at 0 per month with 1 seat, 1 channel and 200 conversations. Chaport's Free plan costs EUR 0 with no end date and gives 2 operators, unlimited chats and websites, and 60 days of chat history. Chaport allows twice the people and has no stated conversation cap on the page we read. Lime Connect allows less, so Chaport wins this round for a very small team.

   The three-seat floor on Pro

   Lime Connect Pro starts at 105 per month billed monthly or 87 annually, with a minimum of 3 seats, and prices exclude VAT. Chaport Pro is shown as EUR 29 and EUR 39 per month for 4 operators, but its page does not label which figure is monthly and which annual. Even at the higher Chaport figure, the entry paid plan looks lighter. Our notes do not state a currency for the Lime Connect numbers.

   Messaging channels beyond the website

   The Lime Connect terms state that WhatsApp Business API access comes through a partner, 360dialog GmbH in Berlin, and its Pro plan covers more channels than the free single channel. A WhatsApp Campaigns add-on starts at 20 per month plus a Meta fee per 1,000 campaign messages. The Chaport pages we read list a website widget, REST and JavaScript API access and Zapier on the top plan, and do not show a WhatsApp channel. Lime Connect has the edge.

   AI, workflows and bots as separate line items

   Lime Connect sells Connect AI Agent from 99 per month, AI Copilot from 19 per seat per month and Workflows from 50 per month per 1,000 runs. These are add-ons, so they raise the bill beyond the seat price. Chaport bundles chatbots and a knowledge base with an FAQ bot only into Unlimited, shown as EUR 99 and EUR 129 per month. One charges item by item. The other locks the same ideas behind its top tier.

   Trying the top plan before paying

   Chaport lets you try Unlimited for 14 days without a credit card, and the account reverts to the Free plan afterwards. That means a team can test teams, assignment rules, custom fields and Zapier before paying. The Lime Connect pricing page we read lists a Free plan and says Enterprise is on request with a minimum of 5 seats and SCIM or SSO. It does not mention a trial.

   Who stands behind the product

   The Lime Connect imprint gives Lime Connect (Userlike) GmbH, Kolnturm, Im Mediapark 8, 50670 Cologne, Germany, and the page header reads Lime Connect (ex Userlike). Chaport gives its legal name as Chaport Inc. but does not state an address, country of incorporation, owner or hosting model on the pages we read. Documenting the vendor's location is simple for Lime Connect and not possible for Chaport here.

Is Userlike still a separate product from Lime Connect?

The pricing page header shows the product as Lime Connect (ex Userlike), so the name has changed. The imprint names Lime Connect (Userlike) GmbH in Cologne. We treat them as one product.

Which of the two lets a team test its paid features before paying?

Chaport does, with a 14-day trial of Unlimited that needs no card and ends on the Free plan. The Lime Connect page we read shows a Free plan but no trial. A team that wants to test before paying will find Chaport easier.

Can Chaport tell me which price is monthly and which is annual?

Not from the pages we read, because they show a Monthly and Annually toggle without labelling which figure belongs to which. Pro appears as EUR 29 and EUR 39, and Unlimited as EUR 99 and EUR 129. Check the toggle yourself before budgeting.
