Tability vs Cascade
Tability and Cascade both track OKRs, yet they are sold in very different ways. Tability puts two per-user plans on its pricing page, Basic and Premium, and lets a small team read the cost before talking to anyone. Cascade presents OKRs as one framework inside a wider strategy execution product, gives two users a free account, and sends everything beyond that to a sales conversation with no amounts shown. If you need a number to put in a budget today, Tability gives you one; if you plan around seat caps and a custom strategy model, Cascade is the one that describes them.
Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.
you want to read a per-user price before any sales call, and a strategy map plus Slack, Teams, Jira and Linear links on the cheaper plan suits a small or mid-sized team. You can also live with regional hosting being an Enterprise conversation rather than a standard option.
you are a leadership group that wants OKRs sitting inside a broader strategy model, with unlimited viewers and a dedicated customer success manager on the top tier. You are also fine asking sales for every price above a two-user free account.

Reading the figure before you call anyone
On Tability's pricing page, yearly billing brings Basic to $6 and Premium to $10 for each user each month, while monthly billing lifts them to $7 and $12. An Agentic plan is marked coming soon. Cascade's pricing page shows no prices, no currency and no billing basis, only a Monthly or Annually toggle without amounts. A buyer comparing budgets can work with Tability immediately and has to request a quote from Cascade.

Two seats at zero versus a trial clock
Cascade's entry plan, called Plan, includes 2 users and 4 time horizons, is free to start and asks for no credit card, with support by live chat or email. Tability's about page promises a 14-day free trial that needs no credit card, offered ahead of the paid plans, after which the per-user fee begins. A pair of founders can stay on Cascade indefinitely at no cost, while a larger team gets a fortnight on Tability.

What sits on the cheaper paid tier
Tability's Basic plan already includes OKRs, check-ins, a strategy map, initiatives and Slack, Teams, Jira and Linear connections. Reporting depth, data connectors, SAML SSO, SCIM and the AI mode wait in Premium. Cascade's Essentials plan carries a Standard and OKRs strategy model with 10 time horizons, 10 cadences, 50 metrics and 15 reports, but its price is only available through sales. Tability shows more of the feature list against a visible number.

- 04
Seat ceilings and the 25 and 100 user limits
Cascade states that Essentials stops at 25 users and Enterprise at 100 users, with viewers unlimited on both. That ceiling is a real constraint for a company of several hundred people who want everyone to hold an objective. Tability's Basic and Premium columns name no user cap. For a broad rollout that is a point for Tability, though only the Cascade pages state their limit outright.

Strategy model and where data may live
Cascade's Enterprise plan offers a fully custom strategy model, data residency and SSO, plus a dedicated Customer Success Manager and unlimited time horizons, metrics, reports and cadences. Tability lists regional hosting in the US, EU or Australia only under its quoted Enterprise plan, alongside a dedicated customer success manager. Both therefore keep hosting and residency choices for the top tier, and Cascade also details what a custom model means.
Depends on the buyer

Company base and what each vendor tells you about itself
Tability's terms name Tability Pty Ltd, its footer reads 2026 Tability Pty Ltd, and its about page calls it an Aussie company with team members in Australia and the US, seed-funded and founded by ex-Atlassian staff. Cascade's about page gives a Sydney, Australia office in Surry Hills, and its home page copyright reads 2023. Neither vendor publishes an EU entity, and no software licence is stated for either on the vendor pages.
Depends on the buyer
When neither fits
If you want an OKR tool whose vendor and hosting sit in Europe by default, neither pair member is the obvious route, since both are Australian-linked and keep regional hosting for their top plans. Mooncamp and Peoplebox are two other OKR tools in our list that are worth a look alongside these.
Tability or Cascade: questions
3 answersCan a company of 150 people run on Cascade?
Not on the plans described on the pricing page we read. Essentials is capped at 25 users and Enterprise at 100, although viewers are unlimited on both. A larger group would need to ask sales whether the limit can be raised.
Does Tability let me pick EU hosting on a normal paid plan?
The pricing page lists regional hosting in the US, EU or Australia only under Enterprise, which is quoted on request. Basic and Premium show no hosting choice. European buyers should ask before signing.
What does a Tability bill look like for 12 people on Premium?
With Premium on yearly billing at $10 per seat, twelve users come to $120 per month, or $144 if billed monthly at $12 each.
That excludes any Enterprise features, which are quoted separately. Cascade cannot be priced the same way, because its paid plans show no amounts.
