Duda vs Jimdo

Duda is sold to agencies that run client sites under their own name, with team seats, white label and a plan ladder counted in site subscriptions. Jimdo is for one small business that wants a finished site quickly, with a free start and a legal text generator for privacy policies. They only overlap when someone asks which builder to use for a client.

Vendors can pay for more visibility on this website, for example a higher place in a ranking or more room on a page. Commercial relationships can also affect which products we feature and how prominently. Every vendor link is marked the same, whatever the arrangement behind it. How that works.

Where they differ

Duda 2 · Jimdo 2 · open 0
  1. 01

    Starting without paying

Duda has nothing permanent for free; its route in is a two-week trial, card not needed, running with White Label features. Jimdo shows a Start for free button and says a free website can be upgraded at any time. For a first small site, Jimdo costs nothing to begin.

    Edge: Jimdo

  2. 02

What the published prices tell you

Duda publishes USD prices per account: Basic $19, Team $29, Agency $52 and White Label $149 a month on annual billing. The Jimdo pricing page text we read showed no plan names or prices, only monthly payment or a 12 or 24-month term. We can compare only the structure, not the amounts.

    Edge: Duda

  3. 03

    Running more than one site

Duda counts site subscriptions: Agency and White Label include 4, with extra sites billed per site, and client accounts are unlimited. Basic, Team and the others are built around one site. Jimdo's pages describe a single business profile and site, nothing for handling a client portfolio.

    Edge: Duda

  4. 04

Legal pages and local business tools

Jimdo names a legal text generator for privacy policies, plus online bookings, payment links, smart forms and Jimdo Local for keeping one business profile current. Duda's builder page leans toward Dynamic Pages, Dev Mode and External Collections that sync from Airtable or Google Sheets. Different audiences, so a shop owner is better served by Jimdo.

    Edge: Jimdo

When neither fits

If you want design freedom beyond a template or a portfolio tool, look at Wix or Squarespace, which sit between these two in scope.
